As the sun was setting on Fishing Creek Floral Company in Pennsylvania, 75-year-old Navy veteran, Paul Hulse—who was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer—joined his family of 20 for a special photo shoot.

While Hulse was getting photos taken with other family members, his 41-year-old daughter, Megan Knorr, snuck up from behind.

Adorned in a white silk dress, she tapped his shoulder and asked him if he was ready for a wedding.

Did you know Fishing Creek Floral Company is a thriving SAE Project?

For those of you who don’t know, Fishing Creek Floral Company is owned by Brynn Karnes, a junior at Central Columbia High School. While enrolled in the Agricultural Science Pathway it is required of her to have a Supervised Agricultural Education (SAE) Project. Her other SAE projects include working on her grandparents farm as well as at her family’s hardware store, Renco Ace Hardware!

Brynn’s SAE project was recently featured on the National FFA Website for her successes! To find it, go to ffa.org and type in Brynn in the search bar. Look for Sprouting FFA Success and you’ve found it!!
