Of all the magnificent wilderness in America West, few hold a more exalted place in the minds of outdoor lovers and adventure seekers than the beloved Yosemite National Park. Yosemite has continued to attract hikers and backpackers to its breathtaking trails and spectacular waterfalls, firmly establishing Yosemite as a mecca for active travelers from all over the world. Trip Highlights:

- Backpack 6 miles into basecamp. Home for the
next 4 days and 3 nights.
- For the next 3 days, its a new adventure in a
different direction each day and back to basecamp
to enjoy fun-filled nights. ITINERARY SUMMARY:

Day 1: We meet at a pre-designated location in Yosemite National Park/High Sierras (Tuolumne Meadows) and have a brief orientation. We then take a brief hike to Soda Springs/trailhead. From the trailhead, it's a 6 mile easy to moderate hike to basecamp, Glen Aulin/High Sierras. Once we arrive, we'll set up camp and enjoy the remainder of the day with our feet cooling off in the water at Glen Aulin Falls. Day 2: Up early in the a.m. to prepare for the day's adventure, a 3 mile hike through parts of the Grand Canyon of Yosemite National Park, passing several waterfalls along the way to our destination, each one more breathtaking than the last. Finally arriving to one of the most spectacular water attractions in Yosemite, Waterwheel Falls. Day 3: Optional adventures: 1) Hike 1.2 miles to Lake McGee - a secluded, pristine, crystal-blue lake to enjoy lunch, swimming, fishing, or just listening to nature surrounding you. 2) Hike 2 miles off trail into exploring back country to a hidden waterfall (put bootprints where none have been). Day 4: Enjoy a hearty breakfast before spending the day backpacking out to Tuolumne Meadows; where our weekend adventure ends. As tradition has it, we at Dreamwalker Adventures say our farewells right outside the park at BuckMeadows Restaurant to enjoy good food, cold drinks, and reflect upon our past adventure. LEVEL:

Trip price: $300 per personal (Discount for children between ages of 8 to 13 years old)
