GNO! On Wednesday, the ladies of YCSH enjoyed a fabulous evening aboard the Miss Avalon for our annual Ladies' Sunset Cruise. Great drinks, delicious food, and a beautiful sunset made for a perfect, breezy September evening on the water. Special thanks to Roe Hufner and Suzanne Walters for chairing this event.

Has anyone seen the salt? 🧂🌴 Last night the Great Channel Room transformed into Margaritaville for our annual Jimmy Buffett Night! Our members enjoyed delicious food, tropical drinks, and the incredible sounds of Parrotband. Despite moving the party inside, last night was a great time at our Co****le Championship Tournament. The winners from our tournaments throughout the summer went head-to-head to be crowned our 2024 Co****le Champions. Congratulations to our 1st place winners Fran Naselli and Tom Powers Jr., 2nd place winners, Mike Zehren and Brian Binet(sub for Chris Binet) and 3rd place winners Pam and Keith Pensabene. Special thanks to Robin and Bob Stiles, our Co****le Committee Chairs, for all of your hard work organizing Co****le all season long.

The best party on 7 Mile Island popped up at the YCSH last night at the Moonlight Lounge in the HTR. Delicious drinks, scrumptious desserts and lively company made for a perfect night. Congratulations to Pete Mustico and the YCSH staff on creating a fun evening with a jazzy vibe.

Last night was a blast for our New Wave generation members who joined us on the New Wave Sunset Cruise aboard the Miss Avalon. The night was filled with laughter, great music, and dancing as we cruised the back bays. Special thanks to Kiera Wendel, Taylor Curtis, and Katie Griffin for organizing this awesome event for our next generation of YCSH members.

On Sunday we hosted our annual Sail Team Dinner- celebrating our YCSH Youth Sailing Team and their accomplishments this season. This year, we honored TJ Fetter with the Betty Church Spirit Award, Brady Day with the Karl G. Edelmayer Optimist Award, and Griffin Boland with the Cindy Roach MAYRA Trophy. Congratulations to all of our sailors on an excellent season!

The New Wave generation of YCSH members celebrated in the High Tide Room at the New Wave Commodore's Cocktail Party last night. After enjoying drinks and appetizers, they moved downstairs to dance to the Blue Label Band along with the Commodore's Dinner Dance attendees. A fun evening all the way around. Thanks to Megan McGinnis, Sam Powers, and the New Wave Commodore's Cocktail Committee for creating a great event.

What a fabulous evening at our annual Commodore’s Dinner Dance! Special thanks to Committee Chairs Nancy Carson, Ed Delhunty, and Roe Hufner for organizing such a wonderful evening honoring Commodore Joe Griesser and his wife Beth Ann. Congratulations to Greg and Lindsey Hufner. Greg will serve as the Rear Commodore for the 2024-25 season that begins Nov. 1, joining future Commodore Wendi Powers and future Vice Commodore Doug Basile.

Congratulations to our YCSH Sailing Team on an amazing job in yesterdays Regatta at Corinthian Yacht Club of Cape May. This was the last regatta of the season and we are sooo proud of all of our sailors for an amazing season.

Game Over! Festival of Lights 2024 was a beautiful night with lights, laughter, a little bit of rain, and a lot of memories. Special thanks to our Festival of Lights Committee Chairs, Sharon and Tim Powers, and their whole committee for all of your hard work preparing this event. Additional thanks to our Flagship Committee Chairs, Joy Rubeo and Terry Frangiosa, and their whole committee/set-up crew for all of your hard work making our Flagship come to life. Thank you to our members and the entire Stone Harbor Community for supporting this event year after year. Play Ball! Rear Commodore Doug Basile and his spouse Kat Basile hit a home run today at Rear Commodore's Fun Day. Their baseball theme attracted a happy crowd, and the addition of baseball sack races, pie throwing tent, rubber ducky race and a dunk tank added fun for all. Plus, kids, parents and grandparents enjoyed delicious ballpark food prepared by Chef Devin and staff. Special thanks to Dominique and all the YCSH staff for putting together a grand slam of a day.
