A Tribute from Imara for her Grandpa

I will always miss Grandpa.
Grandpa and I lived in different places, so we talked by phone. Still, he is one of my favorite family members. Whenever we were at his place, he tried his best to make the family laugh and to put a smile on our faces.
I can still remember our last Christmas together. We played this word game where you had to describe a word before the timer ran out. We played it with most of the family members I knew. I was the person who helped people describe words, so I was moving lap to lap helping others. I'm pretty sure I sat on Grandpa's lap the longest. I sat with him on his bean-bag and helped him. After helping other people, I went right back to him and put myself in a position that I could sleep in. I wish I could have just one more Christmas with him.
Grandpa built houses in his town and helped others. Even when he was dying, he still wanted to build more houses.
