Last weekend, SoundFocus provided full audio & lighting production for Music On The Mountain, an event benefitting For One Life, which changes lives in India. Jay Delp Productions provided the video wall & our crew did a wonderful job, from setup to teardown.

The end of July was pretty busy & well-traveled for SoundFocus. We had 2 racks of Shure QLXD wireless in San Diego thru Woodcrest Audio. We set up a sound system at the West Lampeter Fairgrounds for a 3-day Lancaster 4H event. FCA rented a full system for a 3-day wrestling camp event in Virginia. We topped it off with engineering services in Las Vegas for Technicom AV.

Last evening, SoundFocus provided full audio coverage for Lampeter-Strasburg High School's commencement at Pioneer Field. The production included 38 inputs managed by our Yamaha QL5 & Rio racks. The stadium was covered by 10 QSC-powerd JBL SRX712 speakers for the grandstands and QSC KLA line arrays & KW181 subs for the field.

Last week, SoundFocus upgraded the audio & streaming capabilities at New Providence Mennonite Church. We added an Allen & Heath Qu-16 digital mixer, AB168 stage box, and 2 DB Technologies Opera-10 monitor wedges. We also added a PTZ camera mount and Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini Pro livestream switcher & monitor to benefit their stream broadcast.

It's spring musical season. 10 channels of Shure QLXD just returned from Pequea Valley High School's production of "Newsies" and went back out the door to Northern Lebanon High School, via engineer Johnathan Shuey. Johnathan is also covering sound design & mixing duties at Hempfield High School this week. Middletown Area High School is on deck..

This past Sunday, SoundFocus LLC provided control & stage packages for Lighthouse Church's Christmas service at Garden Spot High School. We deployed our Yamaha QL1 & QL5 mixers, 8 Sennheiser IEMs, 8 Shure QLXD wireless, QSC monitors & subs, and a full mic package. Thanks to Sean Loughry, Isaac Lewis, and Mathias Crespo for their work on this event.

Great show by the Squirrel Nut Zippers last night at The Miller Center in Reading. Fun & delightful music & vocals captured by only 9 mics. And the volume was nowhere near 110db.

Last Sunday, SoundFocus provided audio production for an LCBC event at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in west York. We provided a Yamaha digital mixer, 2 Shure QLXD wireless w/ 1 DPA headset, QSC K series cabinets for house and monitors, as well as a mic package for a 4-piece band. The event was a kickoff for another LCBC campus, which will start in June.

Last Friday, SoundFocus provided sound, lighting, and video for Strasburg's Christmas Tree lighting. The event was a collaborative effort by the borough, town civic organizations, and several businesses. Despite the afternoon rain, many turned out to enjoy a rain-free evening. Our production was our Christmas gift to the town we call home.

Some of our gear is in sunny Orlando this week, working with Next Level Production Services. We sent our Yamaha QL5, Yamaha Rio 3224 stage rack, 8 channels of Shure QLXD, and other accessories for this conference event.

A few select audio items are in the middle of a 2-week comedy tour (The State) with Jacob Lewis Audio & Production. The package consists of our Yamaha QL1, Yamaha Rio1608 stagebox, DPA headset mics, & digital audio snake. The tour hit New York & Boston before beginning its west coast run in LA yesterday.

Earlier this week, we were doing some system tuning & time alignment at Oak Hill Fellowship in Quarryville. The main DAS array was installed & tuned in the spring; due to supply chain issues, the fills were only installed recently. It was time to tie it all together...

It's a busy week for SoundFocus LLC. We have a full audio system at Spook Nook Sports for an FCA conference, 3 systems at the West Lampeter Fair (kicks off tomorrow), and we are providing audio production for a Masterpiece Marketing event at Shady Maple tonight. And...another sound system at the West Lampeter Fair tomorrow night for the fair queen pageant.

On Tuesday & Wednesday, we provided audio support for VA Productions for a webcast for a corporate client. 14 channels of Sennheiser wireless were used for 2 different panels of executives, all handled by our trusty Yamaha QL1 mixer to provide clean audio for the event.

Last weekend, SoundFocus provided a full audio rig rental for an LCBC event in Quakertown. We sent QSC line arrays & subs, our Yamaha QL5, Rio 3224-D2, Sennheiser G4 IEMS, and Shure QLXD wireless as part of the core system. On Tuesday, SoundFocus provided full audio production for event producer Masterpiece Marketing, at the Lebanon Expo Center. The event was a fundraising dinner for The Wenger Foundation. Thanks to Sean Loughry, Shawn Kreider, and Isaac Lewis for handling the audio duties for this event. It was also good to work with our friends from Shumaker PDT, who provided lighting, video, and scenic elements.

Double duty in Reading for us yesterday. SoundFocus provided supplemental PA & power distribution for Pink Floyd tribute act The Machine at The Miller Center, while also providing full audio production for Arethusa Designs at the DoubleTree Hotel. The event was "Dancing With The Reading Stars", a benefit for Yocum Arts Institute, and featured in-the-round audio.

This Easter weekend, SoundFocus is providing additional sound reinforcement at Freedom Church's Bel Air, MD campus. They are using 8 QSC KW181 subs, 4 QSC K10 for front fill, and 2 QSC K12.2 for outer fills, to cover expanded seating for their services.

We are in the midst of "musical madness", as we try to keep track of gear rentals coming and going for various local high schools. Over the weekend, gear went to Middletown Area HS and Conrad Weiser HS (via Arethusa Designs). Today, a rack of wireless mics went to Pequea Valley Intermediate School's production of "Freaky Friday". Next week 8 more channels of Sennheiser head to Stray Production Services for another musical. Thanks to Northern Lebanon HS, Pequea Valley HS, & Annville Cleona HS for their "earlybird" rentals. A big shoutout to sound tech Johnathan Shuey for being a great "salesman" for making a lot of these rentals happen.
