The Shenandoah Valley Acoustic Music Club (SVAMC) is a loosely organized group of local musicians and music lovers dedicated to bringing live acoustic music performances to the Shenandoah Valley area with the primary intent of having the full and undivided attention of the audience on the performers for that evening. Performances will be hosted by Christina’s Café in Strasburg, VA on the 2nd Satu
rday of the month starting in April 2017. Christina’s will open at 6pm when beverages, light fare and desserts will be available. The evenings will showcase two local acts each performing a 45 minute set, with a 15 minute intermission between acts. A modest admission fee of $5 will be charged to compensate the musical artists of the evening. All patrons will be asked to abide by the only rule of the club: there will be no conversations and no cell phone usage during performances. This is a club where the music is the center of attention. Drink, snack or dessert orders can be placed with the wait staff during performances, but please only in quick and low voices. Original music is encouraged but not necessary. Acoustic style music is what we are after and what you will hear.
