Our “something old, something new”, hand-made, hand-picked inventory offers you a selection that is chic and easily mixed into endless combinations to create a look that is as unique as you.
WHY WE DO IT
We want to save you from the wasted time and the piles of cutter sitting in your home leading up to and after your event. Maybe you have your heart set on something in particular and you realize it’s harder to find than what you anticipated. More than likely, you’ll end up spending more time and money than you really needed to. Once the fun and excitement comes to an end, all of that wonderful decor you purchased can quickly turn into an expensive storage hog.
We’ll prevent the irritation of dealing with it afterward. Don’t get swallowed up by the chaos of selling it on social media. Who wants to deal with the aggravation when interested parties constantly change plans or never show up? Do you realize that most unsold decor ends up being stashed away in a closet or garage until it’s forgotten and later it’s given away or tossed out? It happens more often than not. Stop wasting your time, your money, and your space. Allow us to provide a cost-effective way for you to decorate your event without all that headache and disappointment.
HOW IT WORKS
Call us to schedule a date and we’ll open the warehouse to view the inventory first-hand. If there are specific pieces you’d like to view, let us know. We can pull them out prior to your arrival.
Whether you’re the creative type or the thought of decorating leaves you nervously chewing your nails, we’re here to help. We’ll assist you in creating the perfect set-up and certainly give you time and space to “play” with different arrangements without our hovering.
If you feel completely lost in it all, we won’t abandon you. Sometimes, a little guidance selecting items or a touch of creative direction for piecing everything together is all you need. Pictures speak volumes. Don’t be afraid to bring some ideas with you. You may even inspire us!
To reserve available items, we expect you to review the contract, sign and pay the deposit amount. We can work out all the little details of your order at that time. Prior to your event, rental items will be ready for pick-up at our warehouse. After your event, simply return the rentals to the same location.
ABOUT ME
I am so many things. I am a child of God, a wife, mother of 4, a (favorite) grandma, a farmer's daughter, caregiver, decorator, gardener, introvert, a lazy runner, coffee & wine sipper, a lover of life in the slow lane, oldest child, and redheaded prankster. I'm sensitive, compassionate, and determined.
I am shifting gears after nearly 30 years of working in healthcare as a CNA. The demands of the job have changed throughout the years and it created a shift in my mind. It left me wondering, “What else could I do?’ Since then, God has opened new doors and has closed others. Even with all the struggle and turbulence I’ve experienced through it, I’m in complete awe of how God brings things together. He continues to provide me with hope to keep moving forward one day, one step at a time. He continues to fill my hands as long as they remain open to Him. I absolutely believe that I have been guided here.
God gives us all talents and gifts and they’re awesome things!!! He gave me a love for being creative. I love to decorate, craft, landscape, design and build. Over the years my husband and I have done projects around our home, indoors and out. I guess I picked up skills there. He would leave for work in the afternoon and I would have the updated construction project completed before he got home. (I have stories for days.) He wasn’t sure what to think, at first. I was getting into the tools more often than he was. It became a joke that I didn’t need him anymore because I’d just do it myself. LOL!!! He once got me a tool belt for Valentine’s Day. That’s love!
I began playing with the idea of starting a business in the fall of 2017. I allowed my love for creativity to fuel my thoughts. I enjoyed decorating spaces and creating new things so I began with some small home decor items. I had my 1st client in April of 2018 to create an outdoor space for their renovated barn bed and breakfast. While giving suggestions, I tossed out the idea that I could design and build a BEAUTIFUL bar with two levels and three sides and a rail along the top and storage and how chic and awesome it would be. Oh, I could just see it!!! One problem...I had never built anything like that before all on my own. I didn’t have a clue where to start and I wasn’t sure I could even pull it off. With a lot of prayer and nail nibbling, I began. I was on my knees every day asking for guidance. The evil one was throwing everything at me, to bring me down. The owner had blocked off two weeks for me to get this thing completed and the weather wasn’t cooperating. It was mid to late April and it was snowing...a lot!! 😨 I couldn’t believe it! I threw on my coveralls and mopped the through snow with toe warmers in my boots and hand warmers in my back pockets. Hands to heaven, it was completed within the time frame and it turned out!! (Phew!) With God’s grace, it was level, square perfection! AMEN!! ALLELUIA!! THANK YOU JESUS!! I still can't comprehend it! I laughed out loud and thought, "Wow! God, I think we’ve got this!" After that project, I completed a few more outdoor spaces including some surprise makeover reveals that I was allowed to capture on video. The whole process was exhausting and stressful but so fun!
I’m forever listening for God’s direction and shifting when I feel called to do so. With that in mind, I am gently leaving behind the world of makeover spaces and moving into offering event rental decor. God only knows what this will lead to. I am ready to move, ready to walk on the water...into the deep. From the voice of Ken Davis, "Move when God says “move”. Risk when God says “risk." With that in mind, I’m moving along the course that God has put before me and I’m so excited to meet the people He puts in my path. I’m so blessed and I am so thankful that you’re here.
