Streator wrestlers split duals last night beating Dwight 54-11 and losing to Gibson City 10-56. Addison Yacko earned the ‘hammer’ with a great performance at PIT and continuing her pin streak last night. ****VOTE for Addison as the news Tribune athlete of the week****

Against Dwight, Jesus Martinez earned a fall at 138, Devin Thompson earned a fall at 190, Sebastian Flores earned a fall at 120. Receiving forfeits were Garritt Benstine at 132, Anthony Perrotta at 144, Taylor Barbee at 165, Aydan Radke at 215, Aiden Ferris at 285, and Ved Chaudhari at 113.
Against Gibson City, Devin Thompson earned a fall at 190 and Ved Chaudhari earned his first varsity win at 113 with a major decision! Addison Yacko and Lily Gwaltney both earned falls at 115 for the girls. In exhibition Lailah Vaughn earned a fall at 120 and Kameron Magona earned a 17-2 Tech Fall.
The bulldogs begin conference competition tomorrow, Thursday 12/12, at Peotone against Coal City and Peotone!
