FYI I didn’t want to do this, but I’m going to have to put a pause on incoming orders as I have been hit pretty hard with very complex heifer tags that need to be put in at Cidr time….my best guess is April 20 if I can open up before then I definitely will. I am working my butt off to meet everyone’s deadlines. I have seven orders due the 15th through the 17th that are very very complex all the way from South Dakota to Texas and a few locals, thank you for your understanding!!

I’m not gonna lie I struggled on this order I knew there would come a time I would mess up 🤦🏻‍♀️ my customer…she was so forgiving and patient. I put the wrong name down did the whole order and Bam had to redo it so I’ll be looking for a farm that has the name I put on eventually but besides getting really sick, blizzards and calving, I finally got it accomplished!! And they are really sharp and I hope these cows look snazzy sharp are happy to wear them!! Cow tags….Headed to Iowa!! Thank you Emily!! 💙🐮

Just letting everyone know that I have several orders ready for the mail, but we are pending a blizzard from this afternoon until Tuesday afternoon in North Central Nebraska. Even if I got them to town the mail truck probably won’t get here. I’m sorry for the inconvenience. I wish none of us that are calving had to deal with this. I’m soo pumped!!….a little time out from Engraving tags tonight as my last embryo just hatched!! A lil hfr calf was flushed out of my first purchase from Green Valley Cattle. Stacia is her mama and dad is Stellar. We flushed 7 eggs and this is my last one 😢 JJ my first cow ever on the ranch is a whopping 12 year old sweetheart recip. This lil gal has a full sister that is 2 yrs old!! JJ will retire and stay on the ranch forever….she’s earned it!! 💕

These are the Ritchey ear tag buttons. The company re-did these as they were having fall out issues. This was about
1 1/2 yrs ago. They come in 3 colors. White Black and Yellow. They felt that some of the issue was the dye to make different color buttons. This is why they limit the color selection. They are clover leaf and cupped to hug the ear. Very easy to put in unlike the ytex and allflex buttons. They don’t fall off the Ritcey pin either which is nice when mama cow is huffy! I carry the pins and buttons and all the color ear tags except the least popular which is red/black. Hope this helps in your future decisions. I will always ask if you need both pin and buttons with your orders! I forgot once and got a butt chewing 😬😇 Happy calving!

Started using Ritchie buttons as I’ve had such a large fall out using ytex buttons in Ritchie tags lately. Love how smooth they go in and hold on the Ritchie tag pin too. Unfortunately Ritchie buttons only come in black or white. The other brands will work on Ritchey Tags too but all flex and ytex come in multiple colors so there are some pros and cons..! I’m open for orders and I’m all caught up. Going to get started on some herd bull Tags….just call or text or message me if you need Ritchey Tags engraved…there is no minimum and I’d rather discuss it over the phone the details that way there’s clear communication!!
