It’s official! The GFWC Woman’s Club of Stuart’s clubhouse has received a Historic Designation from the City of Stuart.
All members, their guests, and the public are invited to the unveiling of our new marker and a community open house afterward.

Join us May 21 at 4 pm for the unveiling as part of National Preservation Month. Martin County will be hosting historic events throughout our community and we will be listed on their schedule. After the Marker dedication, guests will be invited to a reception in our clubhouse. where we will showcase our history and our community service.

Yesterday was a big day for our club. The Banyan Room Stuart, was designated for listing on the Stuart Historic Register yesterday. The honor was bestowed both for its architecture and for the significance of the events that have taken place there. Built in 1958 with a donation to the GFWC Woman’s Club of Stuart from the Kiplinger family, the building has been the venue for countless events and our club has played a key role in how Stuart evolved since 1913. We are proud to be recognized for our place in Stuart’s history.

Our beautiful new garden is ready! What was a patch of overgrown ferns is now a lovely outdoor space thanks to the exquisite design by and realtor Jean Alicea of Home Suite Homes who brought it to life. 💐🌺🌸🌸
