Looks like the weather is going to be nice for the Kite Festival in Algoma! Come check out some cool kites and have BBQ, or Mac and Cheese for lunch, and an Oreo Ball for dessert!

Hey y’all, come out this Saturday and support our Sturgeon Bay High School Soccer Team while they battle alumni! Oh yeah, and eat some food! Go Clip!

The Annual Alumni match will be Saturday August 20 at 10:30 with an inter squad scrimmage and the Alumni Match to follow. After the match there will be a BBQ Fundraiser. Lace up your boots guys it's gonna be fun!

What good eats can you find at Soar on the Shore Saturday?

We welcome back Smokin’ Tom’s Team BBQ with their pulled pork sandwiches - smoked 12-16 hours - homemade creamy mac and cheese and oreo balls. Homemade sauces include Kansas City style sweet, sweet and spicy and Carolina style mustard vinegar.

Another crowd favorite is Algoma School DIstrict DI with their famous boiled sweet corn! They will also be selling hot walking apple pies - apple pie filling with graham cracker crumbs and a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream. Yum!

New this year the Ernest Haucke Post 236 will be selling hotdogs, chili dogs, and chips. Grab a cool treat from Sweet Escapes LLC with all your favorite ice cream treats!

Today we had the honor of serving at a memorial for a Navy Veteran. No matter how many times we hear Taps or a 21 Gun Salute, it always brings tears to our eyes. Great job to the Sturgeon Bay VFW and the two Navy Personnel who rendered Military Honors.
