Sharing the good news of growth with business portraits.

Dr. Metoxen has joined Dr. Filar at Peninsula Vision Care, and the two doctors are now working together to meet your vision care needs.

Dr. Metoxen is a native of Seymour, Wisconsin. She attended the University of Wisconsin Green Bay, and studied Human Biology with a minor in Chemistry. In 2021, she earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, where she was trained in the most current treatments, disease management techniques, and therapies of the profession.

Dr. Metoxen is excited to practice primary care optometry in Door County. When she is not seeing patients, she enjoys golfing, rollerblading, hiking, kayaking, and, of course, watching Packer games! She is always looking for new adventures in the area, and is currently welcoming new patients of all ages at Peninsula Vision Care.
