Oh my where did the time go?? Well we made it though the first month of 2025! I remember sitting in my son's Kindergarten registration and seeing that year on the paper thinking that will never come. Now it's here and I can't believe all the lasts that I am experiencing knowing they won't be another. This year is a year of growth and that's my favorite thing that no matter what we have been through something that never changes is as long as we are here we have the opportunity for growth.
IN 2024 I did a lot of educational growth in my business and I feel like 2025 is going to be a year of physical growth for the business and I am excited that the wedding bookings are rolling in and that the flowers for some will be coming right off the farm. If you know of anyone looking for sustainable floral practices and local grown flowers I have been building a knowledge and experience base with these in mind.

Sometimes, we don't know who we are until we spend time with people who see our potential, not our struggle.

I am beyond blessed. I have a friend who could see beyond me and see that there was a bigger thing brewing in me.

Three years ago, I couldn't have told you the name of the flowers I grow today. I remember letting dahlia bulbs rot because I didn't like flowers. Really looking back, I think it was more; I didn't feel I deserved the beauty they brought.

I have now learned that they are such life-giving gifts even in the funeral arrangements. The flowers are a beauty that can pull out memories. One request for a grandfather's funeral arrangements was the wild flowers he picked for his wife that the grandkids remembered.

Well we are all in different places on our journey. Maybe you are just realizing that you have healing to do, and maybe you have found who you truly are. Either part of the journey you are on, I pray that you have beautiful flowers around you. Weather, they are wild in the ditch or given as a gift. Put them on your table. You deserve them.

Last floral event for this week! Thank you to 210 Art Gallery and Northren Blooms and Gift of Sandstone for a great night. Open house tomorrow and Sunday Noon to 3pm to see the art inspired floral designs.

One of the most honoring events I have been able to do flowers for is a funeral. I love to just pray for the loved ones and if I know the person reminisce about my time with them while arranging the florals.
