You probably saw many notifications in April and May for our Open House. We are so excited about the opening of Basset Hill Haven! It is our new changing area for the bridal party. I have attached a video of the highlights of our expansion. To see it in person, give me a call or send a message to make sure we are not having a ceremony at the time you want to tour. There are also examples of our table decor, altar area, bar with canopy and canopy by the Haven.

We are making progress on the outside of the changing suite. Dave has done all of the designing, along with the sweat and labor. It looks amazing! I have been working on some features for the inside. If it cools a little bit I might be able to get more painting done on the inside!

Hey there! My humans call me Buddy and I’m a healthy two years old and I weigh in at 65 pounds of joy. But joyful is not how I began life. Abandoned or left behind, I ran along the edge of the road for days looking for my family. Confused, shivering, starved and dehydrated--my pads raw and nails worn to the bleeding quick, I had almost given up. Then a family spotted me under a bridge. They pulled over, backed up and opened a car door. They stopped for me! They wanted me! No hesitation. I jumped in.
These kind-hearted humans took me home, looked for tags but found none. They nursed and nurtured me back to life and health. Thanks to them, I am a fun-loving, affectionate guy who never met a person I didn’t like. Now for the rest of the story. My precious family could not keep me forever so they found RPSM and now I am available for adoption!
For now, other wonderful humans and my foster brother--an RPSM graduate himself, take care of me. I will begin my training on Dec 3, 2021 at the Lakeland Correctional Facility for ten weeks to learn all sorts of new stuff and boy am I eager to learn. I am one big teddy bear that loves and wants to be with you all the time. I love to ride in the car and I already know some basic commands like “come”, “sit”, “lay down”, “outside”, “walk”, “play time”, “shake” and “leave it”. I love to play fetch and chase frisbees, oh and my Kong toys are the best. I am looking for my new forever family and that can be you if you apply at RPSM, its easy and it’s the first step in getting a chance at me.

We finally have the inside finish work done. Now to clean, clean, clean! We have an elopement coming up on Sunday.

We have been so busy with upgrades to make your experience with us easier! Our biggest improvement is adding on to our storage barn. I now have a place for everything and everything is in it’s place! Loving it! This was all possible with the tenacity of Dave Stedman, my sidekick and Chief Maintenance Officer.

Oh, my!!! Look at what happened today. New side doors on the chapel. Some finish work and a little paint to make it beautiful. I love these improvements that we are making. We will be able to host a wedding in about 10 days. Call me to set a date! Now to think about new steps before winter. Lol It could not have happened without Tim Grandstaff! Thanks so much.

Brewhouse BBQ paid tribute this morning at Cedar Lake Golf Course to the 13 U.S. service members killed outside the Hamid Karzai International Airport Kabul, Afghanistan Thursday while supporting Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. Our thoughts and prayers are with their loved ones.
