I’ve never shared this story from 2006. These pictures came up and brought back this unbelievable moment. There was an MTV 3 camera shoot, sponsored by Axe, featuring the brand new Denon CD mixing board with all the bells and whistles. (Flang, reverse, loop, manual tops you could control like records, etc). There were 73 DJs there with hopes of getting a paid clip of them mixing on the newest Denon CD deck. I knew it inside/out. MTV Music said “ if you get a check in the mail, your clip was used/sold ”. 2 months later I received a check for a few hundred dollars. Apparently they sold the clip of me mixing to an overseas advertising company to use in a Denon commercial. I never got to see it, but I do have that check stub in my collection of DJ highlights. What a memorable night it was at Webster Hall. It was universal who paid me if I remember correctly. Have to pull out that collection one of these days. Just a wonderful piece of my DJ history. Thank you to all who have reserved with us over the years. Tip: if you are getting married at a Venue, there is a Bridal attendant and Maitre D along with full service staff. These are your day of coordinators along with banquet manager. You do not need a day of coordinator in these locations, that’s why you’re paying the venue, it’s included. The proper term is for day of coordinator is Maitre’ D. If your wedding is off premise and a large event, you may want to consider a coordinator. Any experienced vendor is more than capable of working together with your other vendors to coordinate your day. Your bridal party is also there to assist. Spending anywhere from $1500 to $3500 for someone to walk around with a clipboard and tell vendors who have been in business 20 years longer than them what to do, only messes up your timeline and the flow of your day. Save yourself money. Most DJs include Day of coordination in their services. I’m here to answer any questions you may have. 🎶🎶 Happy planning.

Weddings, including couples from out of state and those who have their weddings here from abroad are accommodated with upmost respect. Communion parties and Children's School/Spring events are about to begin as well. I'd be more than happy to entertain and make your kids smile. We have fun games, unique ideas to keep them busy. As with all private party events, I can offer great song choices to compliment these special days so many are planning.
