A decade ago, I turned my passion for creating breathtaking events into a reality when I left my full-time job and started my event planning business.
Even though I loved my business, the dream of creating a unique venue—long sought after in our area—grew stronger, especially after my son’s engagement. It was clear: the time had come. We found the perfect spot in Hampton Roads to build not just any venue, but the venue of dreams, and The Legacy at Willow Pond was born 🥂
When I’m not designing dream weddings or coordinating elegant corporate events, you might find me enjoying a good book by the lake or exploring new culinary delights. 🍽

From solar parking lot lighting that dims when there is no activity, to native plants, water bottle refiller vs. one-use plastics and so much more. We also have partnered with our exclusive Caterer, Chef by Design who sources locally for all products, makes everything fresh including sauces and dressings, as well uses food rescue practices for Meals on Wheels! Oh...and Veronica, one of the owners, has her Sustainable Strategist Event certification! We are here to help make even small choices and changes. 🌱

All is good though and we keep moving forward to bring this dream venue to Suffolk!✨ Finishing up insulation this week and starting drywall.
