A small event is absolutely no excuse to sacrifice creativity. Here's a break idea any group can execute--a visually pleasing, individually wrapped/served candied apple, cake pop, and ice cream experience with a personable attendant at the . Attendees were transferred into their own candy store. And it was economical and didn't break the bank. We hope the sugar rush resulted in some amazing productivity for the rest of the day. Celebrate the small steps.
Last week, The Meeting Designers began to cautiously peel off the “Virtual Meetings Band-Aid” by holding a live, in-person event in San Antonio, TX. No Lie—the transition is a little scary! But the careful planning and extra cautionary attention to details are worth it when you see the excited and happy faces of attendees networking, breaking bread together, and sleeping in hotel rooms for the first time in almost a year. Kudos to the Grand Hyatt San Antonio team and its onsite restaurant Ruth's Chris Steak House - San Antonio Grand Hyatt for providing stellar service levels and scrumptious plated meals within such a clean “socially distanced” environment. Thank you to our loyal client, Texan Title Insurance Company, for entrusting us with their important small event. Nothing will ever replace face to face meetings, and these small steps taken safely will lead us to more and more.
