Recently a friend gave me some sour dough starter and l had never tried it. I baked 4 different loaves on my first try. A little ambitious. They were not very pretty but the taste was fantastic. I made chocolate cinnamon expresso, macadamia white chocolate, white chocolate almond and orange ginger with cranberries and raisins. Shared these with my sister and brother in law with a cup of hot cinnamon chocolate spice tea. Looking forward to making another batch.

Went to a Bridal Shower yesterday for a dear friend and I made the cookies as thank you gifts (my first ). The book cookie is a play on her name. We had such a wonderful time. The sisters who put it together made it such a special event with fun games and lots of laughter.

My last bake on Saturday. Chocolate Cinnamon rolls and Regular Cinnamon Rolls. I topped the chocolate ones with a cream cheese white chocolate drizzle and the others with a vanilla ice cream flavored cream cheese drizzle. So guess what we had with our breakfast this morning.

Nettie’s Cuisine is back and trying some new cupcake flavors. This one is Sweet Potato Pie. Stay tuned. I am creating my take on some old faves and will display some of my creations in the near future at a Farmers Market in Baldwin County.
