What a gorgeous day for a grand opening market yesterday! We had one happy puppy last night! Every Tuesday we come home with a bully stick from our friends at Pet Wants Lowcountry and Santino knows to find it in our market bag. He usually jumps in the car and has his head in the bag but he is a little out of practice since we haven’t had one since September of last year.
I hope everyone that came out yesterday was walking away with a waggy tail of happiness too!
As a reminder we will not be out at Flowertown this year, it’s just a really long day when no one really wants to carry frozen casseroles around a festival. In lieu of Flowertown we are thinking about selling from the driveway again. Anyone interested in a Saturday pickup? If there is enough interest we will do it.
Summerville Farmers Market Meeting! Mark your calendars April 13th will be the first day we are out there.
April 6th is Flowertown and the farmers market is technically opening that day but we will not be there.

We sold out of Gingerbread Houses faster than it took me to assemble them in this video (that is totally happening at normal speed).
Don’t fret my pet, we will have one more chance to grab one before Christmas. We will open our website up on Tuesday for deliveries starting on December 20th. We will also offer the houses, casseroles, soup and Quiche.

I cooked with my daughter yesterday trying to get inspiration for a new dish or two. We made a broccoli and cheddar stuffed chicken which was worthy of making it onto the menu but when I went to the wholesaler today they had no chicken breasts 🤦♀️
The only thing they had was chicken drums so I looked at those chicken drums and said “your coming home with me, I’ll give you a bath in a kick butt marinade overnight and turn you into something delicious! Your chicken breast friends will be so jealous.”
So anyway the menu is coming once I pivot and figure out what ingredients I have to work with this week. Till then enjoy the satisfying sounds of a sizzling pan.
I am ready for the “Chili” days ahead!
