There are not many days when you can say your company had a major impact on the world but today was one of them. I was at the United Nations with the organization Unchained At Last to bring awareness to the perils of forced teen marriage. It was an inspiring and emotional day with them and the survivors who bravely told their stories. Hours before I left, Jose and Tony Melendez rented a sound system so they could inspire and bring the Gospel message to families in upstate New York. Tony was born with no arms but he plays guitar with his feet!! Saturday I will be with my friends at Home for Good Dog rescue. Another outstanding organization saving dogs living in the worst of conditions.

I am proud to be associated with each of these organizations as they do amazing work in a world filled with pain and suffering.

As a small business owner it feels good to know you can make a difference when you help amazing organizations when they call on you.

Rain date make up for City of Summit tonight on the Village Green. Movie is Home. Just came out on DVD. So it's as close to a first run movie as you can get!

Tonight is the kick-off of the award winning Screen on the Green movie series on the village green in downtown Summit. If you want to experience what a rec. department can do for its people come out tonight and enjoy a perfect summer night.

There will be our HUGE 36' outdoor movie screen, full HD projection and yes 10,000 watts of movie sound. (we only get to push it to about 3 on the mixer!)

Free give away items from local sponsors and I know Sweet Nothings in town always gives away a sweet treat basket through the DCP tent. Pizza Vita will be serving the best food truck pizza in the state and DJ Chad will pump out the tunes for everyone.

Feature film for tonight is SpongeBob. So bring the kids and get ready to have some fun. Special guests tonight will be Summit icons Shark Diddy and his pal McMuni and I did hear a rumor that straight from Bikini Bottom SpongeBob and Gary may make it to the green. Dance party starts at 8 Movie to start around 8:45 pm.

We will also be in Plainfield for a 16' movie and with Cresskill Recreation with our 20' screen.
All movies are free and offer great summertime fun for all ages!
