Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) donations needed.
As this global pandemic begins to see a rise in our communities, the number of community members who are seeking care at our facilities for symptoms related to COVID-19 is growing, and we believe this number will continue to increase dramatically in the days and weeks ahead. As such, there is an increased need for the personal protective equipment required to ensure the safety of our health care professionals and allow them to provide extraordinary care to our patients.
The personal protective equipment includes:
1. N95 Masks
2. Eye Protectors
3. Sterile Gowns
4. Surgical Gloves
5. Regular Masks
6. *Alternative respirators that OSHA has given permission to use in health care during this historic pandemic
As you may have seen in recent news, there is a great demand for this. If you or someone you know have personal protective equipment and are interested in donating them to health care professionals at Atlantic Health System during this challenging time, please email [email protected].
*Alternative OSHA approved respirators:
Other types of acceptable respirators include: Ea R/P95, N/R/P99, or N/R/P100 filtering facepiece respirator; an air-purifying elastomeric (e.g., half-face or full-face) respirator with appropriate filters or cartridges; powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) with high-efficiency particulate arrestance (HEPA) filter; or supplied air respirator (SAR).
