Guess what plant babies arrive to our greenhouse, this week? Geraniums for the win, ding ding! These pictured are from last season. Weather wise we're months away from summer color, a fact this cold snap reminds us of. But it's always 60 and sunny in our greenhouse, and we're planting feverishly. Where do we find inspiration? It's not a trick question, it's multiple choice. We find inspiration, when we wander physically and mentally. This week we're at market, where we wander ponder and order what you'll find, in our storefront. Shopping is fun, but a big job. We take a week away to plan and purchase, four seasons in advance. Why? Because then we know what's coming when, and we can focus the days spending quality time with our people, and our perishables. That right there, is inspiration. Whenever I'm in a grocery store, I start in the flower section! Sometimes I find a pretty bouquet, for home. I'd love to stand in the flower section on any holiday week, and assist people with selecting the freshest bouquets! Happy Birthday, Greta! She's in her nineties now, but I remember her, when I was a young girl. Greta is absolutely lovely. She always has been the kindest and classiest of women, always smiling. How does she do it? When I was five years old, my dog had pups and we couldn't keep them all. It was a crushing lesson in life. Greta took one pup to raise! She had German Shepherds, and mine were mutts. Didn't matter, to Greta. I'll never forget her for that. If I have sixty years of the fondest memories, can you even imagine all the lives Greta has truly touched, during her years? Simply the best, just being herself. Happy Birthday, Greta!

This old red van is not the delivery vehicle, we've always dreamed of. It's an '85 stripped Chevy that makes embarrassing noises, each time it shuts down. We giggle every time. This gal has hauled a lot of loads, but with only 53k on her, she's raring for a road trip. Oh yes, we do deliver! Welcome home, Old Red.
