And with that, my 25th year of DJ-ing is in the books. A few company parties and game shows and 15 weddings made this year a good one. It had some challenges considering while setting up for the third wedding of the season I broke my right leg in two places and my left foot. Even with two surgeries (one to fix above mentioned leg) I never missed a wedding including the one where I broke my leg setting it up. However I couldn’t have done it without my amazing crew who stepped up more this year than any before as I wasn’t able to assist as much during the prime summer months. I’d like to thank Tyler Haugen, Megan Elizabeth, Brad Thomas, Alexandra Ortiz, Brianna Okeson, and our newest member of the team Delanie Dennis for all their help this year. They make me look good to our clients, other vendors, and the guests at each wedding.
My crew and I deliver a service beyond what most DJs would be capable of. We go way above and beyond and my training from Randy Bartlett and Mark Ferrell and Rebecca Ferrell have created what I honestly believe (because we have been told over and over and over again) is a TRUE professional experience.
Thank you to all my clients, past and future for allowing me to have the best job in the world of providing a fun, engaging atmosphere. Thank you for allowing me the honor of announcing you into the room like the celebrities you are for the day. Thank you for allowing me to set the mood for your first dance and take you on the roller coaster of emotions as we navigate through the night til the last song sends you off as newlyweds.
So, know anyone getting married? Have them contact me. Let me show them what we can do. Let me explain to them how we deliver a service that generates nothing but 5 star reviews. Or, better yet, let my previous clients tell them. You won’t find us on any advertising sites (other than the free listing perhaps) because our calendar fills with referrals. We don’t do 100s of weddings a year. We do 15-20 per year but we do them RIGHT!
Ok, I’m rambling and it’s time to head to bed. While I don’t think I have another 25 years left in me to do this, here is to the last 25 years AND to the next 25 (give or take).
