Yay! My wedding season kicked off yesterday! 😁
And we were all grateful the rain held off during the ceremony. The Paine Art Center and Gardens is a beautiful venue space and the gardens are gorgeous! Beautiful backdrop for a hobbit wedding theme. 🧝‍♂️🧝‍♀️

Wedding season starts next month for me! Yay! I can’t wait to get back at it!

And I am getting my stuff organized out and ready for 2024 events! So what better way than to get my “assistant” her own binder? For some who have worked with us, know that my assistant is my daughter. She’s been working with me for 3 years now. And she is old enough now (she just turned 15 this month 🥲) to officially have her own binder! 🥹

I am so excited for us to be working with you all!

And PS —- we still have some fall wedding dates available! Don’t wait though! They will fill up quick (because I posted this…lol)! 😂

My name is Amanda Bowden and I own Spotlight Events Company. I created this business as I have done a lot of parties and wedding planning (and did I mention that I have over 20 years of experience?). My last wedding for 2023 was yesterday and it was beautiful! Since owning my own business, I have wanted to do a December wedding and I finally got one!

This wedding was a small intimate wedding filled with so much love! It was so special. I worked with some familiar faces, but had something new, worked with someone I knew from high school. She takes amazing photos and I highly recommend!

Happy 3 year anniversary to us! 🎉

2023 was a little different, but we still had fun! We were busy with events and made more vendor connections. I am so proud of how far my business has come!
