Bar Talk Low Voter Turnout.. The Surest Way To Kill A Dream
This is a re-run. However with election just weeks away it is important that we revisited this topic. If you have seen it before, you know it is still relevant. Low turnout was a real issue. In fact, voter turnouts statistics stood somewhere between 17 and 26%. One could even argue or question if winners reflected the will of the community when more than two thirds of that community did not vote. Some may say primaries and midterm elections are not that important and that we should see a greater turn out at the “real” elections in November. That may be easier said than done. This Sunday, this panel is an amazing group of people. They know all too well the importance of voting and the significant consequences of not exercising that right. Please join in the conversation. There is much to learn. As always, please like and share with friends. Feel free to comment. God bless.
