We are proud to announce that the results are in for 2019! Here are the Top 200 Most Requested Songs of the past year:

In the past fifteen years, over 18 million song requests have been made using the DJ Event Planner song request system. This year alone there were 2,869,206 song requests included. That is a 26% increase in song requests compared to last year. These requests have now been analyzed and sorted by popularity.

There are two versions of the charts, International, and UK. The International list includes requests from all of our users. Seventy five percent of our users are from the United States, so it is definitely the one to look at if you are in United States. The UK list obviously includes just song requests made by our UK users. This includes about twenty percent of all requests.

The top five songs of the year remained the same as last year, but the order changed slightly. Whitney Houston's song "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)" was at the top this year. Last yearss top song "Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars is in second place, just like last year.

The top song for the year for the UK Chart was "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers, which is followed by Whitney Houston's song "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)".

Besides the overall Top 200 list, we also have:

* Top 30 Most Requested Special Songs for Wedding Receptions
* Top 30 Most Requested Wedding Ceremony Songs

Please note that these lists are based on actual requests by party planners and their guests. This music is targeted at special events like weddings, school dances, and corporate events. The lists are not designed for clubs or cutting edge music environments. This is the music that people want to hear and will dance to.

Please also note that the lists are based on requests from many countries and a diverse audience. The results may not reflect the preferences of your local clientele.
