The Rotary Club of Boulder Valley is excited to announce the second annual Boulder Valley Beer Fest to be held on Saturday, September 12 from 2:00 until 6:30 p.m. The festival will take place in conjunction with the Town of Superior’s annual Chili Fest and will

be held at the Superior Community Park, 1350 Coalton Road, Superior. All net proceeds from this fund raiser will be used by the Rotary club to support its many active local, national and international community projects from improving literacy locally to helping eradicate polio globally. The Beer Fest will feature the beers of approximately twenty local breweries offering a wide variety of outstanding beers. General Admission includes an attractive souvenir mug and unlimited beer sampling. This will be a great afternoon so buy tickets now, bring family and friends and be part of a great new Superior tradition!

Great turn out! Fun event! Thank you to all 2019 Boulder Valley Beer Fest that made it happen! Saturday afternoon, the competition was heating up, as more than 15 teams went head to head in a community chili cook-off during the 19th annual Superior Chili Fest at Community Park.

Below is a list of the brewers/cideries we are expecting and some of their featured beers/ciders:

1. Beer By Design
a. Hatch Green Chili Ale - a spiced/amber ale with mild chili spice.
b. Joy Porter - coconut, almond and chocolate porter.
c. Pineapple/Mango Wheat Ale - an American wheat ale.

2. Prost Brewing Company
a. Marzen - Their Fall Oktoberfest/amber lager is one of their most popular brews with a caramel maltyness. IBU: 22 / ABV 5.8%
b. Pilsner - Their Northern German style Pils is their most popular beer brewed with a spicy hoppy note to the front and smooth malty ending. IBU: 43 / ABV: 4.9%

3. Dry Dock Brewing Company
a. Docktoberfest - Their classic annual Marzen style lager features elegantly rich, toasty German malt flavors, a modest hop bitterness, and a creamy mouth feel with a crisp, dry finish. IBU: 22 / ABV 5.6%
b. Apricot Blonde - A misty golden blonde ale fermented with shiploads of fruit. A crisp, clean finish and just enough apricot to make this a favorite. IBU: 17 / ABV: 5.1%

All net proceeds from this fund raiser will be used by the Rotary club to support its many active local, national and international community projects from improving literacy locally to helping eradicate polio globally. We have issued invitations to various area breweries and hope to also include some cideries this year. Check back for more information on our confirmed brewers.
