Happy Sunday everyone! We want to tell you about our newest adventure! Teresa and I have created our own 501c3 Non-Profit called the Atkinson Family Charitable Foundation.

As you already know, my wife Teresa and I have a fairly successful little BBQ catering business but have often prayed and wondered what God's plan is for us as it relates to cooking BBQ. We believe this charity is the answer to that question.

We know people love to eat and fellowship and we know people especially love to eat BBQ here in North Carolina! We also know people need Jesus more than ever so we've combined our passion for serving people great BBQ with our desire to see lost people saved. We plan to feed Jesus's sheep both physically and spiritually thru a shared meal of fantastic BBQ and great fellowship!

We hope to do that by partnering with rural, local Churches and their Pastors to reach the unchurched and unsaved in their communities.

To everyone who gave, shopped, helped set up and helped clean up the ECHO Haiti Yard Sale this past weekend. Thank you so much! The yard sale and bbq sale were a huge success we were able to raise almost $8,000. This will make a huge impact in the lives of our kids.
