I’ve been hinting over the last few weeks that many changes have been happening in our family. Finding out we were pregnant was the biggest one. We were due October 23rd 💔 We found out on Valentine’s Day that we had finally conceived and we started to prepare for our newest arrival.

For me personally, one thing I realized was that I had to make some changes with what I was doing for work. That’s why my account shifted so much over the last few weeks. I know it’s been confusing. I’ve been confused. I was going to finish off my spring weddings but after that, there was no way I was going to be able to run around a venue for 10+ hours every other weekend when I was 7-9 months pregnant.

But this weekend, on Easter Sunday, we lost our littlest love at 13 weeks. The day we were supposed to announce the good news was the day we lost our baby. There’s a lot more to the story as we’ve been dealing with all kinds of complications over the last week so if you’d like to read more about that on my personal account you can here-

For now, it’s time to take a break from this account. Time to rest, mourn, and heal. We’ll miss you forever my littlest love 💔

If you know me personally, you know that I’ve been baking on my own since I was super little. I was that kid that would watch The Food Network instead cartoons any day of the week. Seriously guys….Food Network was my go to channel when I was like 10 😅

For as long as I can remember my dream job was to own a restaurant or a bakery. I used to come up with entire menus, concepts, and floor plans for when I got older and could own one myself 😂 The Sims Restaurant Edition? That was my jam!

Food has always been a passion of mine. In fact, almost all of jobs I’ve had outside of the home have been in restaurants. My last job was a decorator at Nothing Bundt Cakes here in Scottsdale! I’ve always loved baking and can’t wait to share my passion with the locals here in AZ! 🌵

This week is recipe testing week 🤤 I’ll be posting on my Instagram and page over the next couple weeks with flash sales if you want to try some of the recipes along with me! They’ll most likely come in sampler boxes so you’ll get an assortment of different treats to try. You can pick them up here in Surprise, I can deliver to you for a small fee, or I can ship anywhere in AZ!

I’ve finally figured out the direction I’m taking my business and I couldn’t be more excited 😍 I’m headed into pastries & parties! I’m offering custom and creative treats for any occasion, plus you can still rent out my inventory to make your party complete. I have lawn games, paint parties, picnic setups, Instax cameras, and more!

This will work much better for our little family and it’s still something I’m super passionate about 💪🏾 I’ve been sitting on a name/logo for a little while now before changing anything on social media because I want to make sure the name is one that I truly love. I’ll share more about how things will work tomorrow, but I wanted to give a quick update for now 💕

One of the best bits of advice I received when I first became an entrepreneur was to be honest and transparent about your biz. So today we’re doing just that! 🥺🎉

My life has changed SO much in the last few months. I went from being a party of 2 to family of 4 when I got married in November. And now, because of more changes to come, I’m having to rethink my entire business.

I’ve been in this state of limbo for a few weeks now where I’m not sure what to turn this into or how to make it all happen. Should I continue wedding planning or offer styling for other events like bachelorettes and bridal showers? Should I rent out my items as party decor? Should I add the option to order custom desserts to make your event complete?

I’ve done so many things over the years, I’ve have had so much experience, and I LOVE to do so much that it makes it a bit tricky to narrow it all down into something that makes sense. It’s been challenging and rewarding all at the same time.

I’ll share more details soon, but for now just know that changes are coming and they’re all good ones! I’m finally closer to figuring out the direction I need/want to take my business, and I’ll keep you updated every few days as things progress.

You may even see a name change soon because (if I’m being transparent) I almost *instantly* regretted the name I picked like 5 days after launching so…. 🤓 I always knew I would change it eventually but it looks like it’s happening sooner rather than later!

I have so many brides who picked a backyard venue this year and I know every single one will be magic 😍 Here’s a few tips if you’re planning a backyard wedding for yourself!

•Extra Photo Locations ✨ Scout the neighborhood surrounding your backyard venue for other areas to take pictures. There may not be a lot of space once all your guests arrive in the backyard, so it’s nice to have a separate area you can walk (or take a quick drive) to and take your portrait photos.

•The Getting Ready Rooms ✨ If you’re having a backyard wedding, you may be getting ready inside the home (which is awesome by the way!). Try to pick a room that is nice and bright with natural lighting, and is free from clutter so you can get all those pretty shots!

•Consider Comfort ✨ Depending on the season you’re getting married in, you may want to do something special for the comfort of your guests. If you’re getting married on a hot day, consider adding fans or a water & lemonade stand. If it’s going to be a chilly evening, you could rent some space heaters or provide a basket of cozy blankets.

There’s a lot to think about when planning a backyard wedding, but they really are some of my favorites!

It’s been too long since I’ve posted here! Hey Instagram, I’m back 👋🏾

The last two weeks have kicked my butt! It’s been filled with booking a ton of new brides all while updating the program I use to plan with them (also, my birthday 🥳). Everyone is finally in the system now and it feels ✨so good✨

I’m excited to return back to normal life and can’t wait for all the spring weddings! I still have a few dates open for this spring if you’re getting married and still looking for a coordinator. For now, let’s get back to your regularly scheduled program…. 💍💕

•I’m a wife (as of recently 💍🥳) and a mom to 2 silly little boys. They’re 3 and 7 years old and keep us on our toes daily!

•I love sushi, tacos, and late night snacks with my husband when the kids go to sleep.

•I’m a sucker for candles, cocktails, and comfy sweaters. Even in Arizona, I’m almost always cold! 🥶🌵

•I recently got married and with that I found my passion for wedding planning! I have a background in design and I’m a planner at heart (yes I’m one of those 🙋🏾‍♀️) so it all felt natural and has been a blast ever since.
