We were able to have our first show back at CRS today, after a 3 year hiatus due to Covid! It was so fun visiting with kids who were waiting for appointments. We are so excited we will be able to be back visiting for our monthly visits again !🙌 , ,

We had a great field trip today to Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center. It was fun to see some animals that we do not have. They specialize in rescue, rehabilitation, and release of native Arizona animals, specifically mammals. We saw coyote, grey fox, red fox, mountain lion, coatimundi, bob cat, javelina, mule deer, and black bear. Oh, and a sulcata tortoise, like we have! 🐢

It is with great sadness that I share this. This is where it all began for me. Mickey will be truly missed in the zoo community. Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium will not be the same without him. I am thankful for my time at Wildlife World Zoo. I don't know where I would be today if I had not had the opportunity to work for and learn from him. He opened doors for me that I didn't know needed opening and led me to where I am! He was a visionary, an animal advocate, a businessman, and an inspiration. Thank you Mickey, you will be greatly missed but your legacy will live on for generations with the amazing zoo you have created. RIP.
