There are volunteers willing to help if you need your damaged items picked up. Please contact city hall!

Edit: if you cannot take your items, we will be arranging a schedule for it to be picked up. We will post here once we can arrange a time/day.

Roll off dumpster is at city shed for your disposal of items. Please contact City Hall for any questions or if you need someone to pick up items. No appliances, paint or hazardous materials, computers, etc.

The R.L. Johannsen Center will have a Community Christmas Tree in the front lobby starting Nov 28th. We are asking residents(past and present), businesses and anyone else who wants to share memories or history of Sutherland. Bring an ornament, relic or memento to hang on the tree with your name somewhere on the ornament (could even be given in memory of someone). Your ornament will NOT be returned as we plan to have this a yearly event. Drop off during city hall hours or mail to P.O. Box 62, Sutherland, Iowa. Help us make this tree amazing for years to come!
