The Sutherland Rodeo Committee is sad to say goodbye to an old friend and a long time committee member. Sending condolences to the Fleecs family.

On Sunday, September 8, 2024, Donald Fleecs peacefully passed away at his home in Sutherland. He was 91 years old. Don, the son of Charles and Alice Fleecs, was born in Sutherland on February 11, 1933. He attended country school then Sutherland High School, graduating in 1950. Don farmed with

It is time for the NSRA End of Year voting. All members have until August 19th to vote for their favorite large/small purse rodeos and rodeo personnel/contractors. And yes, Sutherland is up for the Large Purse Rodeo again this year. We hope that all the contestants enjoyed their time at the Sutherland Rodeo this last year.
