• when booking your venue, review their requirements, first!
• find someone who is comfortable walking down the aisle with your pup. Practice, Practice, Practice!
• make arrangements ahead of time! Who would be responsible of taking care of your pup and when your furry friend will make their grand entrance to your ceremony and for photos
• collaborate with your planner, so they can factor it into the timeline and it’s as seamless as possible 🤍
• request a flower dog collar or leash with your Florist, your pup needs to look their best too 🙃

When planning your wedding, it’s important to consider rain, wind, and other weather contingencies at your DREAM VENUE.

CEREMONY
• Will the Plan B ceremony be in a different location?
• Is the florist prepared with alternate decor?
• Where will the DJ or musicians be positioned if there is even potential for rain and they require shelter?
• How does the venue manage ant hills and mosquitoes due to rainy weather?

COCKTAIL HOUR
• Where is the Plan B location?
• If in the reception hall, have all vendors been secured for enough time to set up prior to the cocktail hour start time rather than the typical reception start time?
• What is the power source option at the Plan B location?
• What is the music option at the Plan B location?
• Is there shelter in case of the possibility of rain?
• Will apps and drinks be delayed due to any flipping during this time?

As you begin designing your wedding for next year, collaborate with your Florist and Planner to identify which decor/floral items can be repurposed. Discuss this earlier in the process! Life has been a whirlwind and I took a step back to focus on health and my family.

What I look forward to everyday is a nice cup of caffeine. Every morning my husband makes coffee and then I froth some milk, coconut sugar, collagen and cinnamon. If you haven’t tried it, it’s delicious 🤤

Hello there 👋 | Meet Anna Coffee ☕️- our mini golden doodle (our daughter was very adamant on “coffee” being her middle name).

Life over here has kept us busy, most days include cleanup and flashbacks to having a newborn 😭. But the snuggles are SO worth it 🥰

Bouquet tips ✨

TIP #1 Hold your bouquet down near your waist for photos, near your belly button. It sounds weird but it the perfect placement for photos. This goes for your bridesmaids too!

TIP #2 Keep your gorgeous bouquet in a vase with water, when aren’t taking photos- especially on those hot days! Fresh flowers need to stay alive and well to make it through your wedding day!

TIP #3 Grab a small towel or paper towels to dab the excess water from the stems when taking them out the vases. This will keep your dresses dry and watermark free! 😉
