It hot, y’all! So hot!! Heat advisory here- temps hitting 100+ degrees out there. Luckily we will be in the floral shop all week prepping for our wedding this weekend- it’s nice and cold in there. Back to back wedding weeks- means little time at the desk, but lots of time on our feet. We walked almost 13 miles Saturday, in that heat! Still recovering from that, while prepping to do it again this weekend! Stay cool, stay hydrated and if you’re considering an outdoor event here at the Coast, maybe look more into those Spring and Fall dates! 😅 unless you just love to sweat and you know your guests do too!

Something to keep in mind when looking at centerpieces options - Adding a mix of styles for your floral centerpieces really helps to show off the space. A few tall arrangements for some height will bring the eye up, while low lying compotes or a mix of candles and bud vases will bring the eye back down. It’s a really fun way to play with the designs, while still staying cohesive throughout with color and feel.

The unexpected photos you find deep within a beautiful gallery of images. Moments you may not even have known happened, but a good photographer does. And they are always ready for these *in between* moments. You’ve heard us reference those moments before, our very favorites.
This one will be so treasured, I’m sure.
Brooke and Steve chose not to have a Bridal party, so no one standing with them at the altar, sweet and simple. Once Brooke made it up to the front, her Dad handed her off, took her bouquet and his seat in the front row. Brooke and Steve turned toward each other to begin their ceremony.
But Steve’s Dad noticed that her train wasn’t right, so he popped out of his seat on the other side and fixed her train, y’all. If that is not just the sweetest moment. And it was captured! Look at his wife watching with adorning eyes, as her husband fixes the train on the dress of his new Daughter as she marries their baby boy.
This one got me. ❤️🥹

Hard to believe we’re almost at the end of May already! Our season is in full swing and so far we’ve had some really amazing events! No wedding this week, so catching up in the office and working on some cutie little Prom flowers.
Our 2026 calendar is filling up fast, especially Spring and Summer, we only have a couple of open weekends on the calendar. Let’s chat if you’re planning an event for next year, we’d love to help! 🥂

There’s just something about a black and white image, I always love finding them in the galleries as I scroll through. ❤️

It rained sideways on Jenny and Ferrell’s Big Day, actually, it more than rained on their wedding day- there was a whole hurricane that weekend. But you know what? It was still a fantastic wedding and celebration. We may have needed plan “c”, but they trusted us and the result of that trust got them down the aisle (dry) and happily married!

Having a vendor team in place that is skilled in the pivot- is crucial. This wasn’t our first hurricane wedding and likely won’t be the last. Book solid vendors; ones that have your best interest in mind, ones that can roll with the changes and lead the team through. Ones that can face the challenges head on and keep on smiling through, waterlogged or not! 👌🏽
