I provide professional disc jockeys, state of the art equipment, music and event coordination for Weddings, Corporate Events, Private Parties, School Dances, and much more. I have entertained at thousands of events and hundreds of weddings. I offer Military and First Responders discounts! I truly love my job as a wedding DJ. It isn't just another gig to me. It's someones once in a lifetime (hopefu
lly!). It's an honor and privilege to be chosen by a couple to entertain their reception. Many do not understand the time put into preparing a wedding reception. We may only be playing music for 5 hours, but we average around 20+ for each reception. From our in person consultations, preparing a file with all their dances saved, loading equipment, setting up equipment, taking down equipment, and so on. So the price you hear for a professional, is not just for the short time we play. When choosing a DJ it is very important to find one with plenty of wedding experience. I will not say all younger DJ's are not good. I've met some with incredible music knowledge. Music knowledge is extremely important. You are dealing with several generations at receptions. Not knowing the classics, oldies, etc... that will really impress the guests, will leave you with a not so great situation. Too many DJ's think they are the center of attention. Nope... the people paying you are the important ones. You are there to entertain their guests. You are there to make sure everyone enjoys. A seasoned DJ will be your most important resource to coordinate your wedding, organize fun activities, and there to not only DJ, but to make sure your day is perfect and stress free! I'll pour champagne if needed. I'll get a stain out of a dress. I'll bandage up a boo boo. I'll give the person not feeling well immodium or whatever is needed. I have a "crash kit" you won't see other DJ's with often. It has many things I've accumulated over the years I have found were needed from time to time. I am there to serve you and your guests! A great DJ will work directly with hall staff and most importantly the photographer. A great DJ will work side by side with the photographer to guarantee a smooth timeline and that nothing is missed. A great DJ knows how to make announcements and toss a few tactful funnies out here and there. They know to be on the mic a bit, but not too much! Again... we are not the center of attention. We will remind you when assigning seating, to place guests that may not like the volume of the music during the party away from where speakers will be placed. A great DJ will not need to be told to turn down the music. They understand proper volumes for dinner and then for the party. I greatly appreciate the many referrals and confidence in my wedding abilities. I do not take the responsibility lightly. My reputation rides on my actions. I cannot stress enough to not bargain shop your DJ or photographer. Interview a few different ones. See who you click with and feel the most comfortable and confident with. They really can make or break your memories! I can go on and on with advice from my 20+ years doing this. Feel free to hit me up for advice or help if you are planning on getting married or know someone who is. Weddings are rapidly changing. I tell people all the time not to be afraid to stray away from the norm. Be you! It's your day! Express your day in your way! Your guests will appreciate a reception that is not the same as every other reception they've been to. Hope this helps someone in some way. Happy Wedding Season!!!!
