Before making your appointment at the bridal shop you may want to pre-plan what you may be looking for in your wedding gown. Are you preferring lace, satin, chiffon, soft and flowing, lots or little bling, or a combination such as lace/satin or chiffon/lace, sleeves or sweetheart neckline? When looking at all the pictures available online, in bridal magazines, Pinterest, Instagram and more, save some of your top choices to show the bridal stylist. Some brides prefer not to use pre-selected pictures and only work with their personal shape/height and fabric options to find the best style that enhances their curves. Your venue or destination may predict if your ceremony will be informal, semi-formal or formal too.
For your appointment, you may want to wear specific undergarments and bring a pair of shoes with the approximate heel height you may wear on your wedding day.
