A shout out to the Mason Dixon Rebels Baseball and a couple of our staff members, Harrison Hobdy and Todd Calhoun, great season!

The South Penn League Baseball held its annual end of year awards meeting tonight. Several Rebels players received consideration. Our very own Eric Deitz finished 2nd for league MVP. Pitchers Erich Kelch and Frank McCreary finished 5th and 9th respectively in the league Cy Young vote. And finally, Harrison Hobdy, Brett DeWees and Todd Calhoun finished 7th, 8th, and 12th respectively in the most outstanding young player (under 22) vote.

Several tournament Rebels were also recognized. Tanner Byers won the league Cy Young, edging Justin Gladhill by just 1 point. Calvin Benevento finished 7th on the vote.

Congratulations to everyone mentioned above on an outstanding season!
