I have taken a million photos (and one video that went viral 😂) of this wonderful trip with my son- I am very thankful that he wanted to have his mom around, that we could celebrate in the way he (and Ella) wished and that he is the loving, thoughtful and kind young man he is.

Today is a rest day but we still have 5 more days of Disney magic and lots more photo opps!

It’s graduation day for these two!! ❤️❤️

We let the kids choose where they wanted to celebrate the close of their high school journey so following ceremonies we will be leaving for Disney World! 🏰

If you know them, you know this perfectly fits who they are; content to be together and with family, we will be making some precious memories!

We won’t get this time back so, we will make the very best of it and do all the things!

Yesterday we celebrated my son and his beautiful girlfriend, Ella’s upcoming graduation.

The theme: “Swinging Into The Future” 🩷 ⛳️ 💚

They asked for a family gathering which turned out absolutely perfect and fits their personalities to a tee!

We couldn’t be more proud of them or excited about their future.

Wood + Rosemary, LLC is owned and operated by Candice Acklin Hightower who grew up in Childersburg. Licensed through the state and regulated through the local health department, Wood + Rosemary is a charcuterie business offering everything from individual boxes, perfect for corporate lunches, to grazing tables, perfect for large parties including weddings or other large events.

Prices depend on number of people served and other factors but all budgets are accommodated.

Candice believes we eat with our eyes first so a beautiful presentation is necessary. Feeding others and loving on them through this service has fulfilled a passion within Candice to do for others. When she isn’t making boards she works full-time as a Community Educator for the Senior Behavioral Unit at Coosa Valley Medical Center.

Whew, What. A. Week!!! 🫣

Somehow made it through Hospital and Nursing Home Week celebrations only to get ready to honor these two kiddos and all their accomplishments!

While I took some time off from charcuterie to enjoy this time with my youngest son, I’m not sitting still!

Can’t wait to host their graduation party tonight and share all the fun with you guys!
