Pot roast, Yukon gold potatoes, (lots of) carrots and mushrooms slow cooked in the Dutch oven. Buttered, white rice side.

Gonna master this whole cooking thing.

Funny story: on Christmas Eve a neighbor had a small electrical fire (not funny).

The Lay Lake Volunteer Fire Department responded quickly and did an amazing job to quickly extinguish.

As friends and neighbors saw the trucks I received texts from six different people that all similarly read, “not again, Candice!”.

2024 was a successful year for
Wood + Rosemary thanks to all of you.

I look forward to working with and making memories with you in 2025 should you choose to patronize my services.

My goal is to grow my business but most importantly, to build stronger relationships and make new friends!

One of my very favorite memories from Christmas- taken from my annual Girl’s Christmas Dinner, that started with six and is up to almost twenty.

The tradition started as a night for me to express my love through service (my love language).

I strongly believe that love is an action.

This year’s menu:

Corn and lobster chowder
Cornish hen
Sweet potato casserole
Green beans
Garlic buttered rolls

One of my top goals for the new year is to become a better cook so I can host and serve more often.

Christmas looks a little different with young adults but, we are embracing this season of life and making memories! 🥰

Their favorite food is Mexican, so, I made them a “taco bar” and there won’t be a present opened until they have on their mustaches and sombreros…. “Feliz Navidad” is playing, Merry Margaritas are in the glasses and we are about to get this fiesta started!!!
