We are so blessed and thankful to have just completed the best wedding and event season thus far. Thank you so much to our clients and everyone that made this event season possible! Although we are sad that the 2024 season has ended, we are so excited to embark on a brand new wedding and event season! As we enter the off season, we look forward to taking care of some housekeeping items in order to update and improve our processes & plan for our 2025 events. We still have a few dates available this year and have opened up our books for 2026! Today's member spotlight is the detail oriented Brianna Macri!

Brianna Macri is the owner and founder of Cuse Events by Bri LLC, a wedding and event planning company based in Syracuse, New York that strives to provide the upmost customer service, advice, and guidance to their clients throughout the event planning process.

Cuse Events by Bri LLC offers Day of Coordination, Partial Planning, and Full Service Planning for weddings, anniversaries, graduations, retirements, showers, and other social events. Brianna believes that events should not only be an opportunity to celebrate life’s most important moments, but they should also be functional, effective, and make a long lasting impact on guests and/or attendees. One of her favorite aspects about events is that they create space for individuals and/or groups to show the community what matters most to them, to make a statement, and they allow for others to make new connections and/or reconnect with one another.

In addition to owning her own business, Brianna serves as Administrative Officer in the County Executive’s Office in Onondaga County. In her role as Administrative Officer, she performs a variety of administrative duties and assists the senior management team. She loves being a public servant and thoroughly enjoys assisting fellow county team members and residents of Onondaga County.

Prior to starting her own business and working in county government, Brianna began her career in the hospitality industry. She began her career as a Restaurant Supervisor at Genesee Grande Hotel. She later worked in the catering department at Dinosaur BBQ and catered events up to 1,500 guests. In 2017, she became a Supervisor at Bellevue Country Club where she oversaw staff and daily operations in the main dining room. She also assisted the Food and Service Manager with directing staff in order to prepare for onsite weddings and banquets. In 2019, she accepted the position as Wedding and Event Coordinator at Traditions at the Links where she planned and coordinated various social events such as weddings, birthday parties, graduation parties, anniversaries, and golf tournaments. As a Wedding and Event Coordinator during the Covid-19 pandemic, Brianna learned the importance of adaptability, patience, perseverance, and how crucial it is to stay positive during difficult situations.

Brianna holds a bachelor degree from Mercyhurst University in Hospitality Management, cm laude, with a concentration in Event Management and a minor in Dance. She found her passion for event planning at Mercyhurst University as an Event Programmer on the Student Activites Council (SAC) while planning and coordinating various on campus and off campus events.

Outside of her professional duties, Brianna is very active in the community. She has volunteered for events for CNY Women’s Network, New York, Salvation Army, Everson Museum of Art, Believe in Syracuse, and volunteered at the New York State Blues Festival.

In her free time, Brianna enjoys dancing, choreographing, and performing with SpeakDance CNY, a professional modern dance company in Central New York. She also enjoys working out, traveling, trying new restaurants, golfing, playing the piano, and spending time with family and friends.

Brianna hopes to continue to grow professionally and personally through her career in leadership and management. Her dream is to own her own wedding and event venue and provide Central New York an elegant, fun, and inviting space to host private and public events.

There will never be enough words to fully describe Emily & Joe’s perfect day! From the beautiful weather on a picturesque fall day, to the amazing friends and family that gathered to celebrate their marriage, and all the incredible vendors that made E & J’s day a dream… it was simply the best! 🙌🏼🍂

A stunning and heartfelt mass at one of my favorite churches, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception followed by an elegant, fun, and entertaining reception at Marriott Syracuse Downtown. From the moment that I started working with Emily and Joe, I knew that their wedding day was going to be very special. A couple that loves DMB, loves each other unconditionally, and spreads joy and happiness wherever they go! We truly enjoyed every moment of their wedding day! It was an honor to be a part of it and we will always remember it for years to come!

Reminiscing on this beautiful summer day! An intimate ceremony at The Point at Sand beach - Springside Inn and a lively and eventful reception at Emerson Park Pavilion.

There were so many unique and special details throughout the day including a black and white photo guest book with the most creative engagement photo that I've ever seen, stargazer lilies incorporated throughout the ceremony site and venue, and sun catchers that sparkled in the light✨& were the perfect favor for guests to take home at the end of the evening. The love that C & N share is infectious and we will always remember their special day!

A year ago today we had the opportunity to plan and coordinate one of the most stunning backyard weddings at a private residence in New Hartford, NY. Farial and Ramiz’s wedding vision was enchanted, whimsical, colorful, and sophisticated. The traditions and customs that they incorporated throughout their day made their wedding special and unique. A truly magical day it was at RMSC Cu***ng Nature Center. A whimsical ceremony in the woods followed by an intimate outdoor reception. The most perfect summer day it was, sun was gleaming in through the trees, laughter was in the air, big smiles, and hearts were full. Bess & GT's wedding was organic, natural, colorful, and full of love. There were so many magical moments sprinkled in throughout the day that made it one that we will never forget!

Happy Anniversary Kristina and Charlie! 🥂


A beautiful spring day it was with their ceremony at St. Patrick’s Church in Binghamton, NY followed by their outdoor wedding reception at the Orchard at Chenango Commons .

There was so much love, joy, and happiness in the room on Kristina & Charlie’s wedding day. I will always remember their incredible first dance together as a married couple with tons of lifts and twirls. It was so fun and entertaining to watch. I’m pretty sure that I might of shed a tear or two! Wishing you both an amazing day today as you celebrate your marriage! 🫶🏼

Is it just me or is wedding season THE best season?!

We cannot wait to coordinate Bridgette and Chris's wedding this summer at a private residence in Lafayette, New York! Backyard weddings have returned and we are here for it! 🙌🏼

We have been busy as a bee finalizing details for upcoming weddings, designing styled shoots, gearing up for the season, and responding to 2025 inquiries. There is so much in store for this year's wedding season! We are beyond excited to see our clients wedding plans come to fruition & a few of our own projects come to life too! 3...2...1.... Here we go!
