Hello everyone. First I want to thank everyone who has placed an order with me in this past few days. I am overwhelmed with the amount of love for Indian food!!

Here is my story on what prompted me to start cooking. Growing up, as a first generation American, I grew up in a house where the stove was always on because something amazing was always cooking. Well that smell always stuck to our skin, hair, clothes, shoes-you name it. I was always bullied for this reason and I could never seem to understand why?! I mean come on I smelled delicious!

Fast forward to adult years, where I saw Indian food being mentioned in mainstream Hollywood and Netflix shows. And it left me dumbfounded. The kids who made fun of me and the way I smell, are big time influencers cooking Indian food! And I was ecstatic to see it! I’m totally here for it!!

Recently I just became a Veteran from the United States Air Force, and I thought, well what now?! People are getting laid off left and right. I’m applying to jobs left and right with no response besides rejections. So, in the time of stress and inflation, I started cooking more with my doors and windows open. The smell carried out to my neighbors, who started knocking with a bowl and a spoon. And I thought well, this is it.

So here I am- I opened up Tiffin ( lunchbox in Hindi) the home based food catering service. And I want to thank you all. For reading, for this space, and for this opportunity to feed you my deliciously smelling Indian food.

There are many popular dishes I offer, but every werk I will introduce a specialty dish which isn’t popular but even more amazing! Just for one week.
