Education, Insight, and Inspiration at the GAWDA 2025 Annual Convention!
The Opening General Business Session focused on this year’s theme — Education — and featured an incredible lineup of speakers who informed, inspired, and entertained. Derek Daly kicked things off with a dynamic mainstage presentation focusing on high-performance teamwork, leadership, and culture under pressure. Alex & Eugene Chausovsky, then took the stage and matched the GAWDA aesthetic perfectly by blending humor with real-world takeaways.
The closing session featured an industry panel moderated by Past GAWDA President Gary Halter. The esteemed panelists were; Joe Baxter, Robert Anders, Kevin Falconer, Joe Francis, and Robert Gerry,. The industry panel discussed the topics that are on everybody’s mind, including sustaining a resilient culture, ensuring a smooth leadership transition, the most significant challenges facing our industry today, and the most significant challenges facing distributors.
The keynote speaker for the convention was Willie Robertson, star of Duck Dynasty and CEO of Duck Commander, who talked with Eric Wood about faith, family, resilience, and entrepreneurship — tying perfectly into GAWDA’s 80th Anniversary theme: “Sustaining a Resilient Culture.”
