Kiss Cam 💋 time, Green Acres edition

Far be it for me to reference a television show from the 1960s, but it's very appropriate in this situation. Since we've started tonight, we've heard several stories and references to the city girl meeting and falling in love with the country boy. And several anecdotes of said Country Girl mucking around on the grime of the farm and loving every minute of it. And yes, there have been several references to manure. Almost too many references to manure. But just enough to make it great

This is the wedding of Nicholas and Jordan. Two people bonded together in the name of love, happiness, and being with each other. Has the night has gone on, these two people from two different worlds have proven why opposites attract and go the distance.

The ceremony was very dramatic, with Jordan making her appearance after being driven up by a golf cart courtesy of the staff here at Timber Banks. It was a ceremony filled with last courtesy of the sister of the groom who worked as the officiant, and a few tears courtesy of the vows of the bride and groom.

I'm expecting tonight to be a really fun experience. We are playing until midnight and this is a group that loves to dance, have fun, leave it a little karaoke here and there. We will see where the 10 night takes us!

Kiss Cam 💋 time, Third Times a Charm edition

Event 1: Friday. Epic Banger. Event 2: Saturday. Epic Banger. Let's go 3 for 3 today shall we?

Maybe an epic banger might not be in the cards, as this wedding has more of a backyard wedding vibe. But hey, if I see dancers and smiles on faces, I'm doing my job, right?

We're at a new venue this Sunday afternoon.. first time at Cross Lake Marina in Cato, NY. We're rocking an outdoor wedding on a deck over a grass dancing area. And other than the wind, everything is great so far.

John and Kylie got married at an arbor on the shores of Cross Lake. Arriving in style, Kylie showed up on boat to an awaiting John. A few moments later, they were married and John dipped Kylie for a kiss to seal the union.

Since then, we've really settled in to the laid back, backyard party vibe they're looking for. We've got some great food and music and let's see if people are in the mood to dance this Sunday afternoon.

Kiss Cam 💋 time, This Time With No Bugs edition!

Ah, Tailwater. It's nice to be back. And it's nice to be indoors! The last time I worked here was a very nice wedding, but it was outdoors and all the bugs next to the river came out to say Hi! And the first one they came to was the guy with the lights. So it's a good thing to be inside on this chilly pre-Fall day.

Today's awesome couple is Sara and Zack! Newlyweds whose laid back sense of humor compliment each other so incredibly well.

The ceremony began with grace and class... each guest receiving a flute of champagne as they came in and sat down. Soon thereafter, as the groom, the wedding party, and eventually the bride made their way down the aisle, the guests clapped and hollered with so much enthusiasm to what they were about to see. What they experience next was a lovely ceremony with many laughs.

And as the reception went on, the guests don't even know what they have in store. The plethora of group shots because the bride and groom wanted to get pictures with the people who are most important to them, homemade Italian cookies to be delivered to each of them as the night goes on, more dancing than they can handle, and an after party outside by the fire which has become a staple of Tailwater Lodge.

Wedding 1 of 3 was great yesterday. I'm expecting 2 of 3 to be excellent tonight as well.

Kiss Cam 💋 time, Little Green Bag edition!

Welcome back, friends to a familiar location. If you follow our matrimonial adventures, you know we were at Skyline Lodge at Highland Forest less than a week ago for Sam and Sarah's ceremony. Well, we're back viewing those rolling hills of Pompey.

Today we celebrate the nuptuals of Josh and Mary. They are a fun loving couple full of love and humor as evidenced by the butt grabs during the first dance.

In a move close to my heart, the groom and his groomsmen, decked out in black suits, white shirts, and black ties, walked down the aisle to the song Little Green Bag as an homage to Reservoir Dogs.... something I did as a little reference of my own before a wedding a few months ago. Did I also play Stuck In The Middle With You while someone pantomimed cutting off an ear? Maybe..

As for the rest of the day, the bride and groom's laid back attitudes are fingerprinted all over this wedding with an eat as you go, do as you wish theme. No pressure, just love and fun.

The bride is beautiful, the people are happy and their bellies are full. Time to dance.

Kiss Cam 💋 time, Goodbye Summer edition!

It seems that people's definition of the end of summer can differ. To some around here, the New York State Fair is the end. To others, it might be the Autumnal Equinox. But for me, when I see random guests hiding phones during special parts of a wedding because it's college football season, summer has officially ended.

And this is a nice way to end the summer. One wedding, two locations and lots of love.

Sam and Sarah started out with their ceremony at Highland Forest, making it official in front of family, friends, and the rolling hills of farmland in the background. Afterward, we trucked it all the way to Fayetteville for a wedding at a new venue for me, Onondaga Golf & Country Club.

Sam and Sarah haven't even done their first dance as a couple yet as we are in split rooms, so we're keeping everything where it needs to be. But they did enjoy a cocktail hour featuring the ability for their guests to drive golf balls on the country club's golf course. And now everybody is seated and waiting for what promises to be a delicious meal courtesy of Onondaga.

Now living in Massachusetts, I can only hope to create the memories and atmosphere these two have traveled for and waited all this time to be a part of.

Kiss Cam 💋 time, Moobles edition!

We join our scheduled wedding in progress. I arrived at Tailwater and as I got out of my car, I heard a roaring ovation, and all I could think was "well that's where the party is".

That's because Alex and Sierra had just finished their wedding ceremony and had begun their cocktail hour, but as said before I was joining in progress because they had an amazing live performer named Katie who did music for both the ceremony and the cocktail hour. I just jumped in when the reception started.

So you might be thinking, what is a Mooble? That's the combination of the last names of the bride and groom and printed proudly on a banner welcoming their guests to their lovely outdoor wedding.

As followers might know, I've done more than my fair share of weddings at Tailwater Lodge. Including many ceremonies at their Overlook location right on the river. But I've never actually DJ'd an outdoor reception at this venue. It's a new and very welcome change, especially on a cool night like this.

As for Alex and Sierra, they spent most of their time with me getting right to the point. All of the specialty dances were abbreviated because they wanted to save as much time as possible.

And that's okay because we have a very energetic crowd who are smiling and having a great time. And that's all you can ask for for your wedding isn't it?

Kiss Cam 💋 time, Paper Fan Expert Level edition!

Man it's a hot one! One of those weddings where I lose 5 pounds just from sweat. But heat, rain, snow, global pandemic... if you've got a dance floor, I'll be there.

And what seems to be a trend lately, we have yet another couple who have been together seemingly forever. In fact, I'm told they were on the same t-ball team way back when. And of course, couples that made it through school and distance and all sorts of other things.

So as their guests waited in the sun for them to make their way down the aisle, it was okay for two reasons. First, everyone seems to love Hannah and Connor. Second, our bride and groom were incredibly smart and handing out a multitude of paper fans for everyone to keep cool in the elements.

Everything about this wedding gives off the energy of excitement, humor, and just a laid-back, we-want-to-celebrate-style of atmosphere. From the very funny and heartfelt ceremony by the groom's uncle to the excellent introductions of the winning party which included pictures of the bride and groom from 12 years ago when they were in school, the jovial feeling can be felt all around.

And honestly, I'm not surprised. Connor and Hannah have been absolute model clients throughout the course of this process. To the point where I don't know them very well but I felt like an absolute honor driving an hour away to Hamilton to DJ their barn wedding.

So what I'm saying is, the world has a brand new newlywed couple. And we should all be celebrating them.

Kiss Cam 💋 time, Middle School Sweethearts edition!

You read that right, middle school. A time when all of us are going through the most socially, physically, and mentally awkward moments of our lives, our couple Clemente and Graceann said "screw that, I've already found my person."

Could you imagine being the way you were in Middle School and finding love? Let alone finding the person that you would eventually marry? And the fact that most of you reading this are thinking to yourselves 'No', shows you what the extraordinary couple that these two are.

It was a hot one under the pergola at Traditions at The Links this afternoon. There was a lot of sweat, a lot of paper fans, and a lot of hand waving to make things cooler. But nobody was cooler than Graceann and Clemente, as they seamlessly treaded through their ceremony like old pros. It was almost impossible not to cheer for them as Blink-182 blared out and they walked back up the aisle as husband and wife.

And the party will continue as we speak during the reception. With so many fun activities for the guests, the bride and groom thought of everything. Like a great photo booth from CUSE Photo Booths and a temporary tattoo station, just to name a few things. It should be a great time for those who choose not to join the Dance Floor which I am confident will be full.

Lets make it happen! Go Clemente and Graceann!

Kiss Cam 💋 time, Everything Good, Everything Magical Happens Between The Months Of June and August edition!

Welcome back, friends. If it's a weekend, and there are weddings, Salt City Sound machine will be there. And today we are at Tailwater Lodge, one of our favorite spots and a spot that we work at many times.

Along the banks of the rushing Salmon River, the world was introduced to its newest married couple, that being Nick and Karen. One of the two I met long ago. Another I met at his sister's wedding that I DJ'd a while ago, and come to find out these two found each other in the meantime.

I'm not going to lie, the pressure is on with this one. The groom is a former colleague who is since gotten out of the wedding DJ business. But I know that once a DJ, always a DJ. So the pressure is on to reach the lofty expectations that must be going through both his and Karen's heads.

And I'd say so far so good. The ceremony was beautiful, a religious Catholic Mass with beautiful weather. Everybody was in very good spirits during cocktail hour and Nick and Karen wowed everybody with their very fun choreographed first dance.

As the day goes on there will be even more surprises, like a Table Photo Blitz that occurred right before dinner and a late night concert by Nick on his guitar for anybody wishing to stay for the after party.

Since knowing these two, I can tell that they have been eagerly anticipating the day of their dreams and Salt City Sound Machine is honored to be a part of that.
