Kiss Cam 💋 time, All Good Things Come To An End edition!

Well ladies and gentlemen, we made it. This is my last wedding of the year. It's not the last event of the year, I've got a full plate of holiday parties waiting for me in december. But today it is the last wedding of an absolutely bonkers wedding season where I was privileged to meet some very very amazing people.

So we got in the car and drove South to Waverly, New York.. just on the border of Pennsylvania.. to do the wedding of a colleague. Someone I've worked with in the past as she is a photographer.

Katie is the genius behind Kate Elaine Photo and I have seen first hand her talent as an event photographer. But this time she's the one in front of the camera as it's her big day. And on a chilly night under a gazebo at a country club, she got married to her love, Tom.

One thing that really stands out about this wedding is how different everything is. From the bride and groom choosing a song from The Rankin Bass production of The Hobbit as their recessional song, to an AI created novelty song to accompany them cutting up cheesecake, the feeling that this is a little bit of a different tone as palpable throughout the night

Not only that, we get to work with our good friend Courtney from Crown coordination as she is one of the Bridesmaids and her team is working hard to make tonight possible..

Kate and Tom chose a great night, albeit a cold night, to celebrate their wedding and to commemorate my last wedding. At least for this year.

Kiss Cam 💋 time, They're On Their Feet At The Munro edition!

Welcome back to The Kiss Cam, friends! The countdown to the end is among us. Not the end forever, but the end of my wedding schedule. I still have events in December, but no weddings. So next week is it!

Tonight we're in a venue that is new to us and generally new to the area. Brother, the faces are the same. As many of you know, what are my favorite places to DJ in the central New York area is this Sinclair of Skaneateles. Well it turns out they decided to spread their wings and fly a little higher with the opening of this brand new then you, called the Munro. It's a triple threat of a barn, a classic house, and a state-of-the-art reception area. And I'm very excited to be here for the first time.

So I'll give you a little bit of background on our wonderful bread and groom today, Fred and Johnelle. Representing the great city of Oswego, Fred and Johnelle made their way to Jordan, NY for this festive day.

With all the people bundled up to keep warm, there was a ceremony inside the barn which was absolutely lovely. Followed by a quick cocktail hour. And then the bride and groom made their grand entrance. With their wedding party forming a tunnel, the bride and groom ran into their reception to the goal horns of the New York Rangers National Hockey League team. There was something that many people in the audience sing along to including the groom who is a big fan.

And we're just getting started. There will be no request tonight, but don't worry I've got it. And I'm happy that the bride and groom chose me for their big day. Everybody seems to be in good spirits and that is a good recipe for success.

Kiss Cam 💋 time, Just one look edition!

Just one look? Absolutely. Because if you can, find someone who looks at you the way Lindsey looked at Patrick during the ceremony. It was clear to anyone who saw the ceremony from my point of view that the idea of true love can absolutely be shown with just one look.

Happy November everyone. The month of veterans, turkey, Black Friday deals, and now the wedding month of Lindsey and Patrick, our newlyweds. What a ride with these two! From our first meeting at Panera, to an embarrassing oversight of myself sending them confirmation emails with the wrong names (I'm stupid). To their wedding day today, they've been an absolute pleasure.

We started the night with our indoor ceremony because.. well.. the weather just didn't allow for outside. It didn't stop these two from having an amazing ceremony featuring two of the sweetest vow readings I've heard.

Not much else is happening here. We are just sitting down to eat after a grand entrance and the first dance. Many of the other formalities will be happening after dinner. But if the beginning is any indication, we have an absolutely epic wedding reception to look forward to. And I'm glad that I'm here for it.

Kiss Cam 💋 time, It's windy and cold and I don't know where I am edition!

Happy Halloween everyone! We're out, experiencing the rare outdoor wedding in Central New York on the last day of October. And yes, it is windy. Yes, it is cold, and no... I don't know where I am. I'm pretty well traveled across New York State, but never been here. Basically, I'm in between Geneva and Watkins Glen. Do with that as you will.

Today's couple and their family and friends came up from Pennsylvania! So another out of state couple coming into our lovely area for a wedding. And although we all wish the weather was a little bit better, everybody seems to be in pretty good spirits and ready to have a good time.

Not much has happened to this point. Other than the ceremony, which was quite beautiful. Good natured Rikkie made everybody laugh which seems to be something he's very good at. And his new wife, Allison, slayed the entire group with her dramatic entrance.

After the ceremony was a very very short cocktail hour and now we're straight on to dinner. No first dances yet. No family dances yet. And we will see if anybody wants to warm themselves up with a dance floor later on. We will see!

Kiss Cam 💋 time, Rain Schmrain edition!

We're back! Let's not get crazy, no weekends off.. I just didn't have weddings last weekend, but still DJed events.

But we're back on the wedding train for the last stretch of this every week streak dating back to April! Oh the glory of the weekend of November 21st!

But let's focus on today. A gray and drizzly day and Brewerton, NY. But the doldrums of an Autumn wedding in the rain did not bring down our bride and groom as they plan ahead and had their wedding inside this lovely cabin that is called Arrowhead Lodge.

Today's VIP couple is Shane and Amanda (nice). And yes the weather did not get them down as Arrowhead is completely decked out in lights and drapery transform this space into a true beauty. This is a wedding where you can tell everybody has Amanda and Shane's back. From the very attentive Bridesmaids to the incredibly outgoing and fun groomsmen, the love for Shane and Amanda is permeating throughout this entire venue.

Everything seems very casual, very DIY as one has come to expect for letting it Arrowhead lodge. But one thing is true is that this group is ready to have fun. As evidence by the amount of tables that are quickly destructing their own beer can towers as the night goes on and they pass the 12 packs.

The first answer is beautiful with the bride and groom having a short amount of time just the two of them before they asked the wedding party to join.

And hey, we have a long one today. Expecting to end the party at 9:00 p.m.

Tonight I was given the honor of serving as emcee and DJ for the Westhill Central School District Educational Foundation Gala.

I got to give awards to an NFL player, the owner of Coleman's, a very accomplished teacher, and the widow of a fallen soldier.
It was the first time I've ever emceed something like this.

Kiss Cam 💋 time, Dry your eyes edition!

We're on wedding 3 of 3 this weekend. I couldn't make the second wedding's Kiss Cam happen because they kept me busy during dinner. But not today!

We're back in the North at one of my favorites.. The Lincoln Loft in Watertown. And it's always a pleasure to be here!

Today's wedding has shown the emotion in its most extremes. From unbridled joy for two people finding love and celebrating that today to nearly universal tears for less than ideal circumstances that I won't go into here, that taught everyone in the house the perseverance of the human soul and being one's authentic self.

From the swiping world of Bumble to the beautiful ceremony space overlooking downtown Watertown, attendants have come from near and far to celebrate Hannah and Maura's union. Were there funny parts? Sure, but they ran with it. Were there emotional parts? Absolutely, but they got through it.

And in the end they were married to a standing ovation from people who are here for one reason... their love for Maura and Hannah. They deserve their day. Let's make it the best.
