Tonight I was given the honor of serving as emcee and DJ for the Westhill Central School District Educational Foundation Gala.

I got to give awards to an NFL player, the owner of Coleman's, a very accomplished teacher, and the widow of a fallen soldier.
It was the first time I've ever emceed something like this.

Kiss Cam 💋 time, Dry your eyes edition!

We're on wedding 3 of 3 this weekend. I couldn't make the second wedding's Kiss Cam happen because they kept me busy during dinner. But not today!

We're back in the North at one of my favorites.. The Lincoln Loft in Watertown. And it's always a pleasure to be here!

Today's wedding has shown the emotion in its most extremes. From unbridled joy for two people finding love and celebrating that today to nearly universal tears for less than ideal circumstances that I won't go into here, that taught everyone in the house the perseverance of the human soul and being one's authentic self.

From the swiping world of Bumble to the beautiful ceremony space overlooking downtown Watertown, attendants have come from near and far to celebrate Hannah and Maura's union. Were there funny parts? Sure, but they ran with it. Were there emotional parts? Absolutely, but they got through it.

And in the end they were married to a standing ovation from people who are here for one reason... their love for Maura and Hannah. They deserve their day. Let's make it the best.

Kiss Cam 💋 time, CT to NY edition!

Ah Stamford, Connecticut. Home to the headquarters of Charter Communications and the WWE. But more importantly, the home of our latest married couple, Tyler and Rachel, who traveled from the Nutmeg State to our little oasis here in Central New York for their wedding.

We joined today's wedding already in progress. As the ceremony took place off site and the guests were arriving for their extended cocktail hour. I suddenly heard a commotion behind me and it was the wedding party making a hand tunnel while the bride and groom ran through it. And that was when I finally met in person Tyler and Rachel.

What was made immediately clear, both during cocktail hour and during the reception, was Tyler and Rachel have a great group of people that have their backs. You can really feel the energy in the room and the excitement that has been generated by these excellent guests.

Tyler and Rachel had a very nice and choreographed, yet abbreviated first dance that seem to elicit cheers for every movement they did. And after some parent dances and some speeches and toast we sit here at dinner waiting to dance tonight away once everybody's bellies are full.

And to make it even better, it is a 30th anniversary of the bride's parents. So happy anniversary to Seth and Susan as well!

Kiss Cam 💋 time, Acorns Away edition!

I swear, this place needs to give me my own room one of these days. But this is the last time this year that I'm scheduled at Tailwater Lodge, so as the season continues I'll miss the staff, but I'll be back one day.

We're all being serenaded by the fun sounds of acorns falling onto the outdoor tent protecting the festivites tonight. We're on the banks of thr Salmon River with plenty of people taking advantage of fishing season. Pardon us for a wedding breaking out in the mean time.

The lovely couple tonight is Kara and Mike. Whose vibes can only lead to a successful night. The vest-jeans combo of the groom and groomsmen, the amazing job by Rob, the officiant, and cool features like Blackjack, Craps, and Roulette Tables will give the guests plenty to do at Tailwater's Overlook tonight.

In fact, this is a great night for SCSM because along with our Bride and Groom, there are two other former wedding couples in out past. Also, I get to work with Meghan Goforth of Goforth Event Planning! It's always nice to see familiar faces.

As for Mike and Kara, after a beautiful first dance, they decided to eat last, allowing guests to join them by table to take a group picture before going to dinner. All that's left is to dance, party, and have some late night smores.

Kiss Cam 💋 time, Welcome October edition!

Welcome to October, where the weather has that hoodie and jeans crisp to it. While the rest of the world is learning about the life of a showgirl, we are celebrating our first wedding of the month.

We'll call this our actual debut at The Manor House. We were here a few weeks ago but that wedding had some special circumstances, so I call that more of a soft debut.

Today's adventure started at a wedding show! On a cold January in Watertown, Dominique signed on the dotted line and here we are! The crowd is small, but energetic! The venue is fantastic, especially the garden and patio section, with a wonderful staff, and I get to work with Moments Captured CNY again, so what's not to like?

The reception started just the two of them. Brian and Dominique made a solo grand entrance into a solo First Dance. What's left is some dancing, a photobooth, and a multitude of memories.

Ok, folks, this one is a little bit different. There's a rule that no one's supposed to post about the wedding because the bride and groom want to be the ones to publicly announce their wedding.

And I totally respect that. But I still want them to have a kiss cam by the time they get around to announcing. So here's what I'm going to do. Kiss Cam 💋 time, Home away from home edition!

I think it's appropriate to call this home away from home. After all, I've been at Tailwater Lodge so many times this season. But it's all good because the staff is so cool.

It's event 2 of a 4 event weekend! The rare Thursday wedding happened last night and tonight we're back in our favorite wooded venue next to a river.

Tonight's theme seems to be Opposites attract. And that's not just me saying it. We have had best man speeches and vows expressing that same feeling. It is the wedding of Victor and Amanda. And it all started with a trip to Beak and Skiff to see a concert.

As said throughout the night, she's a little bit country and he's a little bit rock and roll, but from the stories that were told, this grew into a romance, and more importantly a best friendship, that brought us to this lovely day.

They even started out doing things a little bit differently with the flower girls handing long stem white roses to various ladies in the audience as opposed to throwing the pedals on the ground. Their vows were full of references to concerts and road trips, with the occasional Buffalo Bills reference thrown in.

Victor and Allison kept the guests on their toes by participating in a photo Blitz before dinner was even served. And all of the guests obliged by getting into position to make sure that they could get their picture in with everybody before the song ended. It is always a fun feature, but when it's done right, it could be magical. And we made some magic tonight.

We've rocked tailwater before, and we're going to rock Tailwater again.

Kiss Cam 💋 time, Thursday Wedding edition!

Yes, Thursday weddings do happen. And I'm very excited to be DJing one right now.

We are closing out September with a quartet of events consisting of three weddings, and a preschool fall celebration. Event one is taking place right now at a very familiar location, the Craftsman Inn in Fayetteville New York.

I have very fond memories of weddings occurring in this venue over the years, including a sweet 16 party where the kids broke the dance floor. There would definitely be some interesting stories of these walls could talk.

Today's new wedding couple is Nick and Tiffany! They are two people whose love for one another has shined through in the small moments that I've been with them face to face. Tiffany with her outgoing and boisterous personality, and Nick a little bit more reserved and quiet, they are the epitome of him being a Yin to her yang.

I was told that the ceremony was wonderful, however I was not there. We started the day directly with the introductions, first dances, family dances, and a whole bunch of speeches and toasts. But throughout the night so far, there's nothing but smiles on the faces of our bride and groom

So let's start out this busy weekend on a very good note with a full dance floor and memories being made.
