To make your visit more enjoyable, here are a few things to consider. Wine tasting. Walk-ins are welcome. Please call ahead if you have a party of 6 or more. Must be age 21 to taste our wines. No other alcohol is allowed, NO exceptions. Picnics are welcome, but coolers or baskets may be inspected for other alcohol being brought into GSV. Dogs are welcome on-leash on the porch or grounds, not in th

e gift shop or wine tasting area. If your dog becomes unruly, nervous or starts to bark, please leave the immediate area. Please and Thank you. Our wine bar is for tasting, if you have finished your tasting and we are busy you may be asked to go outside and visit the spacious porches. You are expected to be respectful to our staff and other visitors. We look forward to seeing you for a visit! Cheers.

A short story about a bike...

Pictured below are the Morrises, originally from Michigan but visiting for a very special reason. Mr. Morris has just completed the incredible Mountains-to-Coast Ride of N.C. and met up with his lovely wife here at Grapefull Sisters. Upon their arrival, Mr. Morris noticed the white bicycle in our front garden. This upcycled bike has been moved around and repainted many times over the years but has found its home at the entrance of our vineyard. Being an avid cyclist, Mr. Morris shared that his first impression of the bike was that it symbolized the many cyclists who have lost their lives on the road.

We had never thought of that before, but we immediately realized our bike had found a new purpose. This old white bicycle is now the "ghost bike," a gentle tribute to cyclists who have been killed doing what they love. Let this be a reminder to everyone to be careful and mindful of everyone on the road. Every year, far too many cyclists are injured or killed, so please remember to share the road safely.

To all our Grapefull Sisters friends, thank you for making this harvest season so special! As the seasons change and our vines begin to drop their leaves, we are filled with gratitude for a bountiful harvest, cherished friends, and of course, family. We find immense joy in seeing our community come together for harvest—whether it’s educating our kids about agriculture or sharing laughs while eating grapes. There’s nothing like the time spent together in the vineyard. Cheers to new wines, new memories, and timeless traditions!
