Check out our May blog! ⬇ This month, we are diving into the POWER of event design and decor.✨

I’ll bet you can think of an event that was just perfect. The food was tasty, the correct temperature, and visually appealing. The decor was stunning. The theme was apparent. The ex*****on seemed flawless. Whether it was a wedding or a fundraiser, the details made the event special. You took a million photos because the whole thing just felt so magical.

On the contrary, I’ll bet you can also think of an event where the lights seemed too bright. Maybe everything that was supposed to be hot was cold. The decor was nonexistent. And the whole night felt like you were having dinner in the hall of your local community college…because you were. The purpose of the event may have felt special, but the venue and the ambiance (or lack thereof) just missed the mark.

Let’s talk about the power of event design and decor.

The best events are cohesive and flow from one space, session, or activity into another. The theme, design, style, decor, and tone create cohesion, bringing spaces and attendees together where magic can happen. Marrying creativity and logic can create a pleasurable experience that leaves all stakeholders satisfied.

If you’ve been at an event where design wasn’t a concern of the event planners, it may have felt disjointed or off somehow. Event design is about more than color schemes and eye-catching decor. It’s about creating event experiences that “wow” your attendees. Call for Event Production Crew!

On-Call, Part-Time Flexible Work, Set in a Fun, Creative Work Place!

This on-call work is flexible; the shifts get posted, and you work when you can! We make sure to give a minimum of four hours per shift, and pay premium wages for late-night work.

General Description and Duties:

Shifts (availability for one, or all)
-Occasional weekdays, 10am-4/5pm
-Occasional weekends, 5pm/6pm-midnight
-Occasional weekends, 8am-3/4pm

We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic workers who like to be active in the workplace and bring positive, creative attitudes.

Our on-call production crew primarily assists with the setting and striking of events. This involves lifting, pushing, staging large and small décor items, placing linens and centerpieces.

There is currently a need for weekly on-call persons to help with pulling props in our warehouse, loading and unloading the truck, occasional assistance with floral arranging, inventory checks and organizing the warehouse, as well as other tasks including painting, prop restoration, sewing and maintaining our garden spaces.

Driving box trucks experience, a plus, but not necessary.

What an amazing holiday season it has been with events! So thankful to be included in Mary Bridge Children’s Foundations annual Festival of Trees for another year!

First nights fundraising event, Tinsel on the Town, was magical. With an Arabian Nights theme, our team blasted University of Puget Sound with color and unique one of a kind pieces including our giant golden elephant!
So many different vendors and volunteers went into this to create an event that guest won’t forget.

Our event decor transported everyone back to the soulful era of Motown, adding a touch of nostalgia to the electrifying atmosphere.
