Remembering and celebrating our loved ones. ♥️

It is believed that on November 1 and 2 the dead cross the Mictlán to share food and drink with mortals. In Mexico, November 1 and 2 have become days of festivities and celebration. It is believed that at least during these dates, the dead have permission to enjoy and live with their loved ones. ♥️💀🌼

Our household honors and celebrates this beautiful Mexican tradition by creating an altar, placing “ofrendas” such as having a lit candle to guide them, 𝓅𝒶𝓃 𝒹𝑒 𝓂𝓊𝑒𝓇𝓉𝑜 and a glass of water for their journey. We fondly remember my abuelita. 💗
