While in Paris last month, I visited one of my favorite Parisian Parfumerie, 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐦𝐬 𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 - a maison de haute parfumerie since 1743 where their chic boutique is located on Rue Saint-Honoré.
Delina is my preferred luxurious fragrance (I love wearing their Parfum Pour Cheveux), which is perfume for your hair - a floral composition created with notes of roses, peony and vanilla and paired with fruits such as pear, lychee and grapefruit. 🌸
So this week mes amis, I am inspired by the Delina fragrance and will be designing with pink roses…stop by and say bonjour and pick up your French fragrance-inspired bouquet! 💐

Bonjour flower lovers, Belle Pétale has returned from a lovely European vacation with so much admiration and inspiration…we’re still reveling in our voyage! I look forward to sharing with you more of our trip, specifically to Paris! 🇫🇷
In the meantime mes amis, I have modified hours this week (see images), I will be focusing on setting up the Belle Pétale Atelier space for workshops, adding some inventory with some treasures that I picked up from Paris, meetings with potential clients, getting ready for my first wedding here at the beautiful …oh and a petite thing called back to school!! We left beautiful Brussels yesterday, it is a city filled with an abundance of art and history…and a culinary scene. The City of Brussels is also the administrative centre of the European Union. 🇧🇪
We spent most of our time in Central Historic Town of Brussels - Grand Place, the galleries and shopping arcades that were built in 1847 and The Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula.
There is a strong architectural French, Dutch and Italian influence, and the cuisine is multicultural and superb! We thoroughly enjoyed Brussels…au revoir Bruxelles!! 🖤💛❤️
We are now back in London for a few days to continue the last leg of our journey. More adventures to come!🙂

Every two years in August, the Grand-Place in Brussels is transformed into a magnificent Flower Carpet. The result is breathtaking!
This year’s ephemeral work of art is already historic, as for the first time Dahlias formed the main motif! (Quick little fun-fact: the Dahlia was named in honor of the Swedish botanist Andréas Dahl).
Rhizome, this year’s floral motif was designed by Belgian artist and Street Art artist - Océane Cornille. Her stunning creation pays tribute to the city of Brussels…the floral capital of Europe, and she drew her inspiration from Brussels specialties: Art nouveau and Surrealism. (The last image shows the design inspiration).
Today was the last day to view it, so it was with thoughtful intention to make a quick trip to Brussels and see this spectacular floral installation…designed with over 500,000 Dahlias, which also included Begonias, grass and bark. The floral designer in me was super excited to view this and be in complete awe!! 🤩😍 Brussels is in full bloom!

I had the extraordinary pleasure of visiting Chateau de Versailles earlier today! It did not disappoint!! 🤩
The Palace of Versailles is a former royal residence commissioned by King Louis XIV located in Versailles, about 11 miles west of Paris. Louis XIII built a simple hunting lodge on the site of the Palace of Versailles in 1623. Then Louis XIV expanded the château into the beginnings of a palace that went through several changes and phases from 1661 to 1715. In 1682, Louis XIV moved the seat of his court and government to Versailles.
The palace is currently owned by the government of France and since 1995 has been managed under the direction of the French Ministry of Culture.
I spent time touring the famous Hall of Mirrors, King’s Grand Apartments and the stunning gardens! Spectacular in every way!

Visiting one of England’s most beautiful castles, Highclere Castle…also known as Downton Abbey from the British historical drama television series set in the early 20th century. One of my favorite shows!!
This real castle is the home of the 8th Earl & Countess of Carnarvon and has been in the family since 1679. The current style of the house was built in 1839.
While there were no signs of The Crawley family or Mrs. Patmore 😉 (the fictional characters in the series), it was a wonderful day touring the castle and visiting the nearby village of Bampton in Oxfordshire where some of the filming takes place.

A bouquet of yellow roses for a recipient who will be recognized at a special dinner this evening. 🌼
My client specifically requested yellow roses (for the bouquet and the dinner table arrangements) because the person receiving the roses is from Texas, and there is a specific yellow rose cultivar that grows there. The touches of blue blooms are to complement the table decor.

To help me celebrate I am doing 2 different types of “Giveaways.” The first “Giveaway” has an emphasis of local and where it all began for Belle Pétale – in the community of Burien, WA. This is the community where my first floral pop-up event occurred, where my first sale occurred, my first business collaboration occurred, my first workshop was held and…where this community continues to support me and my floral business.
