Another excerpt from Trío Guadalevín's concert, which shows the great versatility of this ensemble: "El caimán," a son huasteco from central Mexico, mixed with some Morocan shabia rhythms in the percussion. Listen Live at Lunch continues for three more Wednesdays at noon at First Lutheran in Tacoma.
Trío Guadalevin offered a wonderful mix on every level during their concert. Here's an old Sephardi song called "Avram Avinu." Sung, in ladino, by Abel Rocha, accompanied by Gus Denhard on the oud, and Antonio Gomez, percussion.
