“Third Date’s a Charm
This team is AMAZING!!! My wedding was one of the many that had to be postponed due to COVID so I had the great pleasure of working with both Ashley and Michele for my wedding. 2 plus years ago when I first met with Ashley at a coffee shop pre-COVID I instantly knew that she was going to be perfect. She was so kind, attentive, and passionate for this work. I felt instantly at ease about putting my wedding into her hands. She worked to support me through 2 reschedules and I was devastated to hear that she was not available for my 3rd wedding date and a bit apprehensive about her co-owner Michele taking on my new date. That quickly changed as Michele and I began communicating. Leading up to my rehearsal dinner and wedding day I felt relaxed knowing that she knew my desires for my special day and I wouldn’t have to worry about a thing. My wedding day went off without a hitch (that I knew of) and I know that is because of all of the amazing work that Michele did behind the scenes. Thank you both so much for the amazing work that you do making weddings days so special and allowing my focus to be on my new husband and all those who came to celebrate with us”

“Simply the best! Need someone to handle an event, dont look any further than right here!! I could not have asked for a better team to handle our wedding day!!!! Ashley and Michele were on top of everything, communication was amazing, and I had full confidence that our wedding would go smoothly. Day of, Michele was so on top of everything we were able to just enjoy one of the most important days of our lives and not worry about a thing. They were even able to coordinate the rainy weather to stop 5 minutes before the ceremony, thats how great they are!! I cannot thank them enough for the work they did and we appreciate having them apart of our day!“

Weddings don’t have to be lilies and roses. There is nothing wrong with lilies and roses, we quite like them, but you don’t have to have those. You can have paper flowers or no flowers at all. Your options don’t have to be chicken or beef. Eat lamb ragù of vegan chili. Let’s plan a wedding that looks like the two of you.

“Cannot recommend enough. We had the wonderful experience of working with Ashley at Grit City for our wedding planning and it could not have been a better experience. We had an odd vision for what we were looking for, and Ashley handled it all amazingly, from recommending the perfect vendors to keeping us on track and making sure we had everything we needed to truly make it our day. Ashley worked very closely with myself and our maid of honor to make sure the day went perfectly, and was an excellent day-of coordinator. We went with their Wedding Management package and, as someone who can be a bit of a control freak, it was exactly what we needed; Ashley took care of the things we needed done and pointed me in the right direction for all the things we wanted to do ourselves. On the day of the wedding, we truly were able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing that Ashley had it all taken care of. I cannot recommend her enough!”

“Just wow. It’s hard to say enough about what Ashley and her team brought to our backyard wedding. They single handedly made sure everything happened exactly as we were hoping. Originally thinking we didn’t need a wedding coordinator, it was only a miracle that landed us together as she had a cancellation the day before I called her. With less than 2 months notice, she handled everything beautifully and was an absolute delight to work with. Coordinating vendors, organizing set up and getting everybody where they needed to go. She was meticulous with the details, took enormous pressure off of us in the days leading up to the event, and went absolutely above and beyond on the day of. I have been recommending her to everyone and would use her again in a heartbeat for any event planning needs I have. Everyone on her team was amazing and truly did so much more than I ever expected. Worth the money over and over again. Thank you for making our day just as we hoped and being such a kind, fun, and effective planner to work with!“

I love a quick, witty sense of humor. I love when people can laugh at themselves. I love when we can laugh during a tough situation. I don’t need every moment to be lighthearted, but my immediate response to most situations is to the find good in it.
