Wedding #2 from yesterday.
I grew up with the Bride’s Dad, I was like 9 when he was born, we share a birthday, we both come from LARGE families. He reached out for his daughter’s wedding flowers and asked if I was available. Are you kidding?? That’s a YES from me!!
It was fun to catch up and see how I could help! Because aren’t we here on earth to help each other?

Blue & white is going strong this year!! She wanted soft and romantic! It was a fun bouquet to create and small versions for her girls.

I hope their day was so much fun celebrating ❤️

Double wedding day yesterday!

This is the afternoon wedding which was so much fun! This family has been a joy to work with over the last few years for other family members weddings. They don’t let 88 degree weather get in their way!

This Bride was such a joy to work with!! Thank you for making my job go so smoothly! Congratulations to you both!! Thank you again!! 💕

Best centerpieces ever! A handmade driftwood wine bottle holder was so cool! The heart shape note from the Bride’s students was on each table! I had to read each one! ❤️

A first for me this week!!
A true NW vibe with a ferry in the background! I thought it was kinda fun and unique! He passed by and the ceremony didn’t miss a beat!

Just reception and arch florals. No personals. A family friend did faux flowers as a gift. So no bouquet photos this week!

The view was pretty insane!!

The couple was so amazing to work with. The Bride was a Sea Gal from a couple years ago and the Groom grew up in Tacoma and has worked for the NBA and is now with the Kraken. Such fun backgrounds and sports is always fun to chat about!!

She wanted a traditional feel in classic colors of blush and whites.

It was hot out, again, but the arch florals were just fine! Repurposed in less than 7 mins to fit a small space in front of their Sweetheart Table. That meant we got to stay and watch their ceremony, which almost never happens for us. Wish them nothing but fun adventures in the years to come!! ❤️

Yesterday was so hot…I was sweaty…trying to keep flowers cool and not wilt. I threw every trick I know at them and hoped it worked! Photos are few! I’m sorry!! I never even got a photo of sweet Jessica’s bridal bouquet!! 😭 But this couple was fun, so easy to work with and they deserve the best life ever!! Thank you for having me! 🥰

What a weekend for an absolutely sweet teacher and her now husband! It’s rare that we get to see the Bride & Groom exit and to see the happiness on their faces…best part of our day! Congratulations & ❤️

Some fun uses of babies breath were had!! I had so much fun getting creative!

I want to give props to ! She put together an incredible wedding and reception. Her staff was amazing and so helpful! The vendors were fabulous and all came together for this couple. The end result was beautiful wedding planned by Penny and I am forever grateful to have played a small part in their day!

Was the weather perfect for this wedding…no. But, this couple had so much love for each other and family & friends cheering them on that it felt like it was all sunshine!
A new venue for me and it’s beyond stunning!! And it’s also a Christmas tree farm!!

A night of networking while supporting women owned small businesses and fundraising for .kidz was a success. Bonus points for hanging out with my work bestie and dressing up, too!

I will fully embrace the panettone color of the year, Peach Fuzz! I love the spring feel vibes from this shoot! Amazing vendors that came together quickly to help get some amazing photos for It’s a great venue that I wasn’t aware of!! If you’re looking for a venue, highly recommend you go see it!

Have I been doing way more shoots lately? Yes, yes I have!

A few reasons…I can be quite shy on here and take a freaking hour to make one post 😂Trying to post more and get my name out there a bit.

Another reason…I’m dropping to 4 days at my day job starting in June. I’ve worked full time since I graduated from high school…a freaking ass long time ago. I’ve been working two jobs since 2008 and doing flowers since 2013. Not easy, but, completely worth it with all the amazing weddings I’ve been involved with and the friends I have made along the way!

I will continue my flower journey and hopefully take on more weddings and who knows..let’s book up 2025 and maybe I can drop another day?? That would be a dream!

Question will be…can I give up my ocd at my day job 😂 time will tell

Earlier this month I was asked if I wanted to join a photo shoot at a new venue in Buckley. The venue, Legacy Farms is stunning! A 5 year labor of love the owners.

I tend to stay in my circle of comfort but decided I need to quit being a wallflower and get out there! (Tho, those who know me at my day job know I’m no wallflower 😂)

Our vibe was a couples wedding shower with a bright citrus spring feel! The amazing vendors all brought their A game and so did Mother Nature! It was a fun day!

If you plan on having any sign at your event…please, add flowers! 🌸 A floral floor piece can be the perfect addition to make your sign pop! Move this piece once the event has started to a spot that needs a touch of texture or color and you’ve just used this piece twice!

This post doesn’t have any flower photos. But one that started out with me at a vendor mixer and me leaving scared for a family member. I had zero control of the situation and could only read SOS texts coming in from emergency services.
But, I can a breathe a bit easier now. So many departments played a hand in helping them and I will be forever grateful to them all. ❤️
Surgery finally happened late this afternoon! Tomorrow I can bring her home and let the the healing begin. ❤️
I will get caught back up on proposals and photo shoot information as quick as I can! My promise!

I am blessed to have caring people that allowed me the time to be with my family. ❤️

I was on the fence to share this, not gonna lie. But, this past year was one for the record books. From April - November I could count on 1 hand my days off and I’m damn proud of myself for handling both jobs.
Running a small (ok…micro) biz isn’t for the faint of heart. You feel like you’re constantly working and you are…ask my friends…I haven’t seen them much! I hope they know I love them!
I love what I have created with this biz and the friendships I have made from my couples and my vendors that I can call my friends!
Thank you to all my couples/vendors that have reviewed me on I have loved working with you all and can’t wait to see what 2024 brings!
So, yes, I’m fu***ng sharing this! ❤️

Floral Repurposing: I am all about repurposing florals when it does not compromise the vision or the timeline! These florals were perfect for the ceremony and the aisle entrance. Moved to the reception to create a pretty backdrop for the Sweetheart Table and adds a gorgeous pop to the front! The timeline was not impacted and the reception goes on without a hitch! 🌸

Happy New Year!! May 2024 hold all the hope and peace for all!! 2023 was my best year yet! Can’t wait to see what the new year brings!

I ended 2023 with fun centerpieces for a New Years Eve Party for The Kraken and spent the rest of the day with my sister! Lots of laughs, great food and soaking up the last of the holiday spirit at the Seattle Center!

Rosie wanted a photo shoot with her fancy holiday wreath. She said she felt fancy! She was quite giddy and said we haven’t practiced sit & stay and so it took 100 photos to get 3.

Weddings are quiet now, a day off from work before crazy week begins tomorrow! Stayed in sweats, made cinnamon rolls (not for work Safeway people 😂) watched more football and scrolled through this wedding gallery from from K & T’s wedding!!
