I don’t drink Alcohol and this is why.
✨Alcohol is a liar that makes you believe in your own confusion!
It is a highly addictive spirit that creates an illusion of relaxation, comfort, and happiness. In reality, alcohol is actually a depressant, or “what’s known colloquially as a “downer.” “The relaxation that many people feel after drinking is a result of alcohol’s depressive effects on the central nervous system, including the brain.
✨It is classified by physicians and pharmacologists as a highly toxic poison! Our bodies recognize alcohol in any amount as a toxin. Immediately ,after even small amounts of consumption, as soon as it enters our body alcohol damages our liver, linings of the stomach, small intestine, brain cells and every cell it touches. The harmful use of alcohol is a causal factor in more than 200 disease and injury conditions.
✨Alcohol is highly addictive! Why would you want to loose your spiritual freedom?
✨It is a Killer that is approved by society. Worldwide, 3 million deaths every year result from harmful use of alcohol.
✨Based on the facts above anyone who is practicing yoga and still consuming alcohol is breaking one of the main laws - Ahimsa. (Sanskrit: non-killing, non-injuring)
Conclusion:
✨Alcohol consumption leads people towards ignorance and away from wisdom. It is the biggest cause of separation from our own self, which is antithesis of yoga’s purpose.
✨I was surrounded by alcohol addictions and violence since I was a child. I lost to many people in the Alcohol Battle
✨As a yoga practitioner I stoped drinking alcohol in order to weaken, eliminate and transcend Samskaras, habits that can be deeply rooted in our mind. I wake up in the morning with clear mind free of guilt that I did something wrong and physically I feel great in 42 years old body.
