It's a good old Sunday attitude of gratitude post over here from SHCB. It's been a big two weeks, and we just wanted to send a special thanks to everyone who's been by the bus. We've served a couple hundred new faces and so many of our regular. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for the opportunity to serve you. Smiling faces and full bellies mean the world to us, all the while getting to fulfill our mission statement (yes, we are a bbq food truck on a mission).
TRADITION: Honoring the long, colorful history that is que! Every culture has their their form, and they all have a place at SHCB. We were also happy to have help from our competion team/Delaware family on our biggest sales day/weekend ever!
INNOVATION: As much as we love bbq, we love food, and we will continue to test out new items as often as possible. The beer-poached and smoked miso-gochujang carrots will be a rotating item, and I guess we are in the chili business after our first place finish first annual chili cookout. Expect that to circle back as temps drop, and yes, it is made with award winning smoked meats. Shout out to and Tink for standing in for us while we served 1 year anniversary.
PURPOSE: Guys...this is the most exciting. We're incredibly blessed, and it's our goal to give back to the world that gives us so much. We were so happy to be part of the 7th Annual Anniversary party that raised over $10k for Leon County Humane Society, but don't forget when you pay with cash and round up, we match those donations penny-for-penny for local animals . EAT TALLAHASSEE BARBEQUE shirts will also go on sale this weekend with $5 from every shirt going to the Tallahassee Animal Shelter Foundation. We also raised some money for & that we will be matching at Barntoberfest.
So this post is long enough, and if you made it this far, thank you for your follow, your patronage, and for being part of the crew! We will be back slinging this weekend.
